TBS Fall Line-Up; The Beav to DVD
Today is one of those rare days we bring you two posts in one day! Earlier today Todd posted a promotion running on the website for a free TV theme CD. Enter the contest today. We have 5 copies to give away.
TBS has announced its fall schedule, which will begin on Monday, October 3. There are not many changes, though. TBS will add a second hour of Saved by the Bell from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., replacing the start of the TBS morning movie. Dawson's Creek will move to 9 a.m. The TBS morning movie, which was previously airing 8 to 10 a.m., will now be 10 a.m. to 12 noon, replacing two Dawson's Creek episodes. After that we have very minor changes. The 1996-2000 sitcom Cosby (pictured above) has expired, and will no longer air at 5:30 a.m., it will replaced by the 1984-1992 Cosby Show. The Cosby Show will also continue to air in its 1 & 1:30 p.m. slot. Eagle-eyed viewers can also catch episodes of Parent'hood & The Steve Harvey Show in early morning slots as well, usually between 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Harvey will retain its afternoon slot still as well, of 2 & 2:30 p.m.
TBS has also scheduled two stunts for the fall. A six-hour Seinfeld marathon (6 p.m. to 12 midnight) is slated for October 2, just prior to its fall changes and an Everybody Loves Raymond marathon on Thanksgiving Day.
In today's DVD news, we finally will get Leave it to Beaver on DVD! It was announced in late May 2004 that the series was in the works and in late December 2004, I announced it would be out by November 2005. The final date is that it will come out just before Thanksgiving, on November 22. Today, TVShowsonDVD.com officially announced it. So, I'll just hand it over to them for the details.
We are working on a story for a show that has not seen subsequent seasons on DVD since its first season release. We will bring you the details on why and when or if we can expect subsequent seasons of this sitcom. We hope to bring you this in the coming days, so hang tight (unless it falls through)!
