Amazon announced the lineup for its forthcoming fall pilot season which will debut on November 10 in over 200 countries and territories exclusively on Amazon Prime Video for all customers to stream. The new pilots include half-hours Love You More from creators Bridget Everett (Patti Cake$), Michael Patrick King (Sex and the City, The Comeback, 2 Broke Girls), Bobcat Goldthwait (God Bless America) and Carolyn Strauss (Treme); Sea Oak, based on a short story of the same name from creator and award-winning author George Saunders (Lincoln In The Bardo), starring Glenn Close (Damages, The Wife), directed by Hiro Murai (Atlanta), and executive produced by Jonathan Krauss and showrunner Evan Dunsky (Nurse Jackie); and The Climb, created by a fresh, powerful new voice, Diarra Kilpatrick (American Koko, The Last O.G.), directed by Chris Robinson (The New Edition Story, Star) with showrunner Christina Lee (Search Party, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp).

Since Amazon Prime Video's expansion to more than 200 countries and territories around the globe last December, customers from all over the globe can now stream the latest pilots. Kevin Hart and friends are hitting the road once again in the part travelogue, part stand-up showcase series Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City. Season 2 premieres with an all-new itinerary of cities and local talent on November 3 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City follows Hart and costars Joey Wells and Harry Ratchford on a quest to spotlight up-and-coming comics in cities that aren't normally featured on TV. Each episode features stand-up sets from fresh faces, conversations between Hart and the comedians, and interstitial segments with Hart, Wells and Ratchford. FXX will celebrate Halloween with a The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" programming event culminating with a 13-hour marathon on Monday, October 31. The marathon will air 26 episodes of "Treehouse" in season order (seasons 2-27) beginning 11am ET/PT and concluding at 12am ET/PT. The week prior will feature six nights of themed "Treehouse" mini-marathons during primetime starting tonight on October 23 through October 30. FX will separately feature a Halloween Weekend Movie Marathon. The Halloween weekend begins on FX at 11am ET/PT on Saturday, October 28, with the showing of Riddick followed by Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Dracula Untold, The Purge, and back-to-back showings of The Purge: Anarchy beginning at 8pm. The marathon resumes at 11:30am ET/PT on Sunday, October 29 with another showing of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Dracula Untold, followed by The Book of Life at 4pm, Hotel Transylvania, and back-to-back showings of the world broadcast premiere of Hotel Transylvania 2 at 8pm. The marathon ends with Surrogates at 12am.

Better Things, the Peabody-winning comedy series co-created by and starring Pamela Adlon, has been renewed for a third season. The third season will air on FX in 2018. Better Things, currently airing its second season, centers on Sam Fox (Pamela Adlon), a single, working actor with no filter raising her three daughters, Max (Mikey Madison), Frankie (Hannah Alligood) and Duke (Olivia Edward) in Los Angeles. She's mom, dad, referee and the cops. Sam also watches out for her mother, Phil (Celia Imrie), an English expatriate who lives across the street. Sam is flawed and fierce with her love for her daughters, and her own mother as well, sometimes heaping the love on when she feels guilty. Sam's just trying to earn a living, navigate her daughters' lives, have fun with a friend or two and also - just maybe - squeeze in some private time once in a while.

Adlon, who directed all 10 episodes of the second season, serves as writer and Executive Producer alongside Louis C.K. Additional Executive Producers include M. Blair Breard, Dave Becky and 3 Arts Entertainment. Better Things is produced by C.K.'s production company Pig Newton for FX Productions. Better Things won a Peabody Award in 2016 for its first season and Adlon was nominated for an Emmy(R) for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

Claim to Fame: Joely Fisher is the daughter of two legendary celebrities, singer Eddie Fisher and actress Connie Stevens. She also had a famous half-sister, Carrie Fisher. But that isn't what makes her famous. She first garnered sitcom success in the series Ellen, and her second wave of success came from the somewhat long running (considering how it never seemed to have many fans) Fox sitcom 'Til Death. In between, she had a few other projects, including the sitcom Normal, Ohio (a sidenote: it was a very much under-appreciated series, it was available on Hulu but no longer is). It seems that she is done with sitcoms, and we hope to see her in more. But for now, singing seems to be one of her other passions.

It's time for another edition of Fri-Yay! That means we will take a look back on some sitcom happenings in recent days or weeks or other fun sitcomy stuff. It's a sitcom lover's paradise! Happy Fri-Yay!

A few weeks ago, I outlined the most promising new sitcoms of the season, while acknowledging that it was a bit of a disappointing season for new sitcoms. Since then, there's been a little movement on the sitcom front - shows have premiered, had their ratings measured, and had time to develop a critical consensus. And since then, it's become even more clear: this is an "off" season for network TV sitcoms. The most promising sitcom of the season, quality-wise, is The Mayor, and yet it's also the lowest-rated, falling to a measly 0.8 rating in its most recent airing. CBS's 9JKL and Me, Myself and I ratings also aren't particularly impressive, and quality-wise, neither show has really taken off in a way that would make either one of them particularly promising. In fact, the only two sitcoms this season that seem to be doing well are Will & Grace and Young Sheldon, both of which obviously are coming from previously loved and established successful brands, the original Will & Grace and The Big Bang Theory.

This is especially a bit surprising because the last few years have really been quite good for sitcoms - shows like Superstore, The Good Place, Speechless, The Mick, Great News and Life in Pieces are all worthwhile additions to the network sitcom canon, on various different networks. Truthfully, sitcom quality tends to be a bit of a continuous cycle. Much of the good "talent" (on and off camera) gets used during a "hot streak," so the following year or two tends to be a little lighter. That could be why we saw so much reliance on past brands when networks were putting together their 2017-2018 TV slate: from Will & Grace to Young Sheldon to the upcoming Roseanne relaunch.

So it's not time to be declaring the end of network television yet. After all, there are plenty of truly excellent sophomore and third-year sitcoms at the height of their powers that can be enjoyed. Plus, we have some interesting shows coming up mid-season, such as the much-discussed Roseanne reboot to Glenn Howerton of Always Sunny fame's network TV debut on NBC's AP Bio. The state of the sitcom is still in pretty good hands, even if it's a bit of a weak fall.

COZI TV is inviting viewers to tune in for a pre-Halloween special broadcast marathon of the iconic sitcom, The Munsters. The 10-hour marathon will run on Saturday, October 28 beginning at 12 PM and ending at 10 PM (check local listings). This is the third year the popular national multicast network will broadcast the marathon. The marathon will feature the first 19 fan-favorite episodes of season one, along with the special Auto-Tune The Munsters – a musical version of the episode "A Man for Marilyn." The Munsters follows the hilariously spooky Munster family as they try to lead a regular life at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Featuring Fred Gwynne as Herman Munster, Yvonne De Carlo as Lily Munster and Al Lewis as Grandpa Munster, The Munsters regularly airs Monday to Friday at 7 PM on COZI TV. Freeform, Disney's young adult television and streaming network, announced the premiere dates for its highly anticipated comedies grown-ish and Alone Together. Starting Wednesday, January 3 at 8:00pm EST, catch the one-hour debut of grown-ish from executive producer Kenya Barris and starring black-ish actress Yara Shahidi reprising her role as Zoey. The following week on Wednesday, January 10 at 8:30 p.m. EST, catch the premiere of Alone Together, the irreverent buddy comedy from executive producers Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone, starring comedians Esther Povitsky and Benji Aflalo. The network announced an expanded lineup with four branded nights of original series. In addition to Freeform's Wednesday night comedy block, the network will roll out various programming blocks over the next few months as outlined below:

• Monday nights will consist of unscripted originals kicking off with the series premiere of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings in the spring.
• Tuesday nights will be dedicated to original dramas beginning Q1 with The Fosters, leading into Shadowhunters on April 3. The Bold Type and Famous in Love will carry out the drama block for the remainder of the year.
• Thursday nights will exclusively consist of genre programming beginning January 18 with the two-hour season premiere of Beyond, leading into the March 29 premiere of Siren. Thursday nights will also be home to Marvel's Cloak & Dagger later in the year.

Twenty-five years after The Simpsons' "Homer at the Bat" originally aired, America's favorite family once again forays into America's favorite pastime. In advance of the network's 20th year broadcasting the World Series, Fox Sports announced that a comedic "Simpsonized" documentary, Springfield of Dreams: The Legend of Homer Simpson, will air adjacent to regional NFL broadcasts on Sunday, Oct. 22 on Fox. The World Series, presented by YouTube TV, begins Tuesday, Oct. 24 on Fox. The one-hour special celebrates the legendary episode "Homer at the Bat," in addition to Homer Simpson's induction into The National Baseball Hall of Fame earlier this year. A satire of Ken Burns' epic documentary, Baseball, the special features interviews with eight Major League Baseball players appearing in the original episode, along with baseball historians, sportscasters, and iconic personalities, such as Fox Sports' Joe Buck, sports announcer Bob Costas, author George Will, Dr. Oz, fashion consultant and television personality Tim Gunn and New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio. Current Yankee slugger and Major League Baseball AL MVP candidate Aaron Judge also appears in the special.

Additionally, the feature contains six minutes of never-before-seen original animation from The Simpsons, including character "interviews" with Homer, Moe, Chief Wiggum and Apu, voiced by Dan Castellaneta and Hank Azaria. Fox Sports features live regionalized NFL coverage at 1:00 PM ET and 4:05 PM ET with NFL broadcasts available in both competing teams' home markets, as well as select additional cities around the country. Viewers with an NFL matchup airing at 1:00 PM ET get to watch the documentary at 4:30 PM ET; viewers with an NFL matchup airing at 4:05 PM ET get to watch the documentary at 3:00 PM ET. Springfield of Dreams: The Legend of Homer Simpson also airs on Friday, Oct. 20 at 6:00 PM ET on FS1.

COZI TV announced the launch of two new tribute specials honoring Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke, premiering Saturday, October 28 at 10 PM ET (check local listings). The hour-long tribute specials, 10 Secret Stories: "A Tribute to Mary Tyler Moore" and 10 Secret Stories: "A Tribute to The Dick Van Dyke Show" feature commentary from the legendary Carl Reiner, the creator of The Dick Van Dyke Show, as well as cast members Rose Marie (Sally Rogers) and Larry Matthews (Ritchie Petrie) and other insiders. The shows are the latest episodes in COZI TV’s original 10 Secrets series that takes a unique, behind-the-scenes look at television’s best-known personalities and most iconic shows.

The cast of the iconic comedy series Roseanne gathers for their first table read for the revival's premiere episode entitled "Twenty Years to Life." Returning to The ABC Television Network, the eight-episode reboot, featuring the original cast – Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (D.J.) and Lecy Goranson (Becky) – will air in 2018. Sarah Chalke, who played the character Becky in later seasons, will also appear in another role.

October 18 is the 29th anniversary of the show's original premiere on ABC in 1988. Roseanne Barr is an executive producer, along with Sara Gilbert, Tom Werner, Bruce Helford, Whitney Cummings and Tony Hernandez. The series is from Carsey-Werner Television. Emmy(R)- and WGA Award-winning comedian and writer Wyatt Cenac will star in a topical ten-episode series slated to debut on HBO next spring. Executive producers on the series will include Cenac, Ezra Edelman (the Oscar(R)-winning O.J.: Made in America), John Oliver (HBO's Emmy(R)-winning Last Week Tonight with John Oliver) and Hallie Haglund (Emmy(R) winner for The Daily Show), who will also be the head writer. Diane Fitzgerald (Emmy(R) winner for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver) will be co-executive producer on the show, which will be produced for HBO by Avalon Television. The half-hour late-night docu-series will take a satirical look at social and cultural issues from Cenac's unique perspective. Rather than sit behind a desk, he will undertake a journey to understand some of the big issues of the moment and investigate real-world solutions.

National Geographic is literally Running Wild with Bear Grylls. The network announced that it has acquired the exclusive U.S. cable syndication rights of NBC's popular hit series featuring Bear Grylls, famed adventurer and survivalist who takes celebrities into the most remote and wild locations in the U.S. and around the world for a 48-hour extreme survival journey of a lifetime. National Geographic will air the first three seasons of Running Wild With Bear Grylls starting Oct. 26. The network also has the first option to air additional seasons of the series produced by Bear Grylls Ventures and Electus, should they be greenlit by NBC. The celebrities who will be partnered one-on-one with Grylls in their own stand-alone episodes airing on Net Geo include actor Zac Efron, actor-director Ben Stiller, actor Channing Tatum, NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, actor Tom Arnold and broadcast journalist Tamron Hall.

Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium video streaming service, announced the new premiere date for Back, the scripted original co-production created and written by Oscar nominee Simon Blackwell (Veep, In the Loop, Peep Show), set to debut exclusively in the U.S. Thursday, November 16, 2017 on Sundance Now. The six-part dark comedy is directed by Ben Palmer (The Inbetweeners) and reunites Peep Show co-stars and BAFTA winners, David Mitchell and Robert Webb. The scripted original follows Stephen (Mitchell) as he tries to follow in his recently deceased father's footsteps and take over the family business. But his plans are soon foiled by the unexpected return of his estranged foster brother, Andrew (Webb). After the death of his father, a pub landlord and local legend, Stephen (Mitchell) - whose only achievements so far have been marriage, followed by divorce, and a slightly disappointing refurbish of a pub - finally has a chance to shine as he is set to take over the family business. But his plans are interrupted when the charming Andrew (Webb), a former foster child briefly raised by Stephen's parents, turns up out of the blue at his father's funeral and is eager to renew his relationship with the closest thing to a family he has ever known. While Andrew quickly charms the rest of Stephen's dysfunctional family, including his mother Ellen, sister Cass and uncle Geoff, Stephen quickly begins to resent Andrew, who he sees as a glib, dangerous sociopath who's about to steal his family, his business and his life.

Showtime has released the trailer and the official poster art for the upcoming comedy series SMILF, created, starring and executive produced by Frankie Shaw and based on her Sundance Film Festival Jury Award-winning short film of the same name. Shaw also wrote the pilot. The new eight-episode, half-hour Showtime comedy is a raw, honest look at the life of a 20-something single mom from quadruple threat Shaw. SMILF will premiere on Sunday, November 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, following the 9 p.m. ET/PT season eight premiere of the Showtime hit series Shameless.

SMILF takes a comedic look at the life of Bridgette Bird (Shaw), a young woman from South Boston whose desires for relationships, sex and a career collide with the realities of working-class single motherhood. Shaw brings her singular, unapologetic point of view to the semi-autobiographical comedy series. The cast includes multiple Emmy(R) winner Rosie O'Donnell in her first series regular TV role as Bridgette's prideful, outspoken Southie mother, along with Miguel Gomez, Samara Weaving, and Alexandra and Anna Reimer. Guest stars include Emmy and Golden Globe(R) nominee Connie Britton, Mark Webber and Raven Goodwin. Executive producing alongside Shaw are Oscar(R) nominee Michael London, Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, and Scott King. Janice Williams also executive produced the pilot. SMILF is produced by ABC Signature Studios as a co-production with Showtime.

Who to Follow: Marsha Warfield (Twitter), "Actress/Comedienne"

Claim to Fame: Marsha Warfield began her career as a writer and performer for The Richard Pryor Show, but she is best known for her role of Roz on the series Night Court. After Night Court, she moved on to Empty Nest, where she was a regular as Dr. Maxine Douglas in the final two seasons. Then, after Emtpy Nest, she seemed to have disappeared. She hasn't appeared in any TV series or movies since 1999 and has officially retired as a screen actress. But don't take that to mean that she is done with being a comedienne. If you happen to be in Las Vegas, you can see her, and quite often, as she does standup comedy every Wednesday and Thursday night, which her own website appropriately describes using the tagline "I've been here for years but yeah... call it a comeback." Occasionally, she takes the show on the road, and has one upcoming appearance in Washington D.C.

It's time for another edition of Fri-Yay! That means we will take a look back on some sitcom happenings in recent days or weeks or other fun sitcomy stuff. It's a sitcom lover's paradise! Happy Fri-Yay!

This week I'll be talking about a show that just started its final season but remains worthy of your attention: The Middle. The Middle is the quiet bedrock of ABC's comedy line-up, an unassuming little show about how hard it can be to be a lower middle class family in contemporary American society. The Middle premiered during the same fall as Modern Family, so it's always unfortunately been a little "in the shadow" of that series. But over its nine seasons, The Middle has distinguished itself as an often hilarious, always painfully real, and consistently great family sitcom that has helped shape ABC's solid family comedy line-up.

The Middle centers around the Heck family, a working class family in the fictional town of Orson, Indiana. It's anchored by an excellent performance from parents Neil Flynn and Patricia Heaton, but like many other ABC sitcoms, it also stars a surprisingly excellent cast of child actors - though at this point they aren't really "children" anymore. While many sitcoms begin running out of ideas as their younger cast members begin to grow older, The Middle has consistently found new ways to tell stories about its young adult cast members that still tie into the series' "down on their luck yet still optimistic" overall vibe. The Middle will be ending its run on ABC this year, and in a way, it's a shame, because it's the type of show I could see running for years and never growing old. It's not afraid to grow and change with its characters, and it's gotten to a point where I look forward to just hanging out with the Heck family. Plus, the series continues to experiment and toy with its formula - last year the show did an extended serialized arc centered around oldest son Axl's feud with his mom, and mostly nailed it.

It's too bad that The Middle hasn't always gotten the recognition it deserves, but luckily the show has one more full season for you to catch up if you've slept on the show, and will undoubtedly live on in syndication for years, so if you haven't checked it out yet, you have plenty of time. But you should do it soon!

On Monday, October 16, 2017, the entire Futurama library - including all four films - will make their long-awaited streaming return, only on Hulu. Matt Groening, the multiple Emmy(R) Award-winning creator and executive producer of The Simpsons, has hatched another outrageous look at the world, Futurama. But we're not in Springfield anymore - we're in New York, a thousand years from now, and it's like no future you ever imagined! FRY (voiced by Billy West), a young Everyman, finds himself accidentally transported 1,000 years in the future. Just like right now, life in the future is a complex mix of the wonderful and horrible, where things are still laughable no matter how wild and crazy they get. And against a backdrop of pesky aliens, exasperating robots and malfunctioning gadgets, people still struggle with the same daily anxieties of life and love... and, of course, traffic is still a nightmare!

Having literally escaped his unfulfilled past, Fry uses his newfound sense of freedom to help his friends in the future escape their regimented lives. His companions include LEELA (voiced by Katey Sagal), a beautiful female alien who can kick some serious butt, and BENDER (voiced by John DiMaggio), a hopelessly neurotic assembly line robot. Working together, Fry and his colleagues buck the system in pursuit of happiness. And with each passing day, the future becomes Fry's home. With his unique satirical humor and distinctive style, Matt Groening has created another unconventional but lovable family. Futurama explores all the joys and disappointments of human existence, as well as some problems we don't have to worry about yet, such as what to do when the cell phone implanted in your thumb dials the wrong number. And while the show has a lot to say about today, more than anything Futurama is a celebration of the future at its wildest.

Having achieved great success with original primetime series, Hallmark Channel expands its original programming slate by commencing production on its first primetime reality series, Meet the Peetes. The series follows the lives of actress and activist Holly Robinson Peete (Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, 21 Jump Street) and her husband Rodney Peete, a star in the NFL for 16 years. Each episode chronicles their lives as they navigate the waters of raising kids and dealing with the same trials and tribulations facing many American families. The show will premiere February 2018 on Hallmark Channel. In Meet the Peetes, audiences will see Holly and Rodney's hectic lives as they attempt to balance raising four kids, including one with autism, running their HollyRod charity and spending time with Holly's 81-year-old mother Dolores, who moved in with them after retiring from her career as a talent manager. With daughter Ryan in college at New York University, their son with autism RJ working for the Los Angeles Dodgers he decides he's ready to leave the family nest. On top of that, Holly's mother Dolores announces she's ready to move out too - the Peetes are in a period of change that will continue to unfold in "Meet the Peetes" only on Hallmark Channel.

Writer Bob Schiller, who worked on I Love Lucy and All in the Family, has died. He died on October 10 in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, California. Mr. Schiller was 98.

Schiller's television writing career began in 1950 with The Garry Show Show. Some of his early sitcom writing credits included That's My Boy, The Jimmy Durante Show, December Bride, Professional Father and It's Always Jan.

He worked extensively with fellow writer and producer Bob Weiskopf on many television series beginning in 1953. Their credits in the 1950s included The Bob Cummings Show, I Love Lucy, The Ann Sothern Show (which they also created), The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour and Pete and Gladys. They were writers for 53 episodes of I Love Lucy for the fifth and sixth seasons from 1955-1957. In 1956, they received an Emmy nomination for the episode L.A. at Last.

Their credits in the 1960s and 1970s included The Lucy Show, The Good Guys, Love, American Style, All's Fair (which they also created) and All in the Family. They worked on variety series such as The Red Skelton Show, The Carol Burnett Show and The Flip Wilson Show. In 1970, they won an Emmy Award for their work on The Flip Wilson Show.

They worked together on 17 episodes of All in the Family from 1977-1979. They won an Emmy Award in 1978 for their work on the episode Cousin Liz, which dealt with Edith Bunker's inheritance of a valuable tea service from her deceased cousin Liz and her decision, upon learning that Liz's "roommate" Veronica is really Liz's surviving longtime companion, to give Veronica the service.

Schiller and Weiskopf later worked on the All in the Family spin-off series Archie Bunker's Place from 1979-1980. They also worked on Checking In, Sanford and He's the Mayor. Their producing credits included The Good Guys, All's Fair and Maude.

The Archive of American Television conducted an extensive interview with them on April 4, 2000.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Sabrina Scharf; his children Tom (who works as a director), Jim, Abbie and Sadie; and his grandchildren Ona, Charlie, Lucy, Archie and Amelie.

Mr. Schiller won two Emmy Awards, a pair of Peabody Awards, a Golden Globe, and the Writers’ Guild of America's Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Achievement. We thank him for the many of hours of entertainment he brought us over the years. He will be missed.

Disney Channel has ordered a second season of its hit series Raven's Home, starring and executive produced by multitalented Raven-Symoné who reprises her role as Raven Baxter from the iconic comedy That's So Raven. Production will resume in Hollywood next month. Joining Raven-Symoné as executive producers are Dava Savel and Michael Feldman. The series also stars Issac Ryan Brown, Navia Robinson, Jason Maybaum, Sky Katz and Anneliese van der Pol. The July premiere of Raven's Home was the #1 live-action cable TV series premiere in two years among its targeted demographics - Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.3 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.5 million/6.1 rating) - and Kids 2-11 (1.6 million/4.0 rating). It was also the #1 series premiere among all kid cable TV networks in Total Viewers (4.0 million) since Disney Channel's BUNK'D (July 31, 2015). Since its debut, "Raven's Home" is #1 in its Friday timeslot and has amassed over 50 million views on TV and digital viewing platforms, including nearly 4.5 million on YouTube and nearly 10 million views on VOD, making it Disney Channel's #1-streamed series.

New episodes of Raven's Home are presented Fridays (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT) on Disney Channel and available in DisneyNow and on demand. All four seasons of That's So Raven are also available on Disney Channel VOD. Raven's Home follows the hilarity and adventures of longtime best friends Raven and Chelsea who are each divorced with kids of their own - Raven's twins, Booker and Nia, and Chelsea's son, Levi - living in one hectic but fun household that often includes the twin's best friend and neighbor, Tess. Unbeknownst to the kids, Raven still catches glimpses of the future, and unbeknownst to her, Booker has discovered he has the same ability to see into the future.

PeopleTV, has a new episode of its popular series, Entertainment Weekly: Cast Reunions, with the cast of Family Matters. Reunited for this special are Reginald VelJohnson (Carl Winslow), Jo Marie Payton (Harriete Winslow), Darius McCrary (Eddie Winslow), Kellie Shanygne Williams (Laura Winslow), Telma Hopkins (Rachel Crawford), Bryton McClure (Richie Crawford), Jaleel White (Steve Urkel) and Shawn Harrison (Waldo Faldo). In this interview, Jaleel White reveals that, as a 12 year-old actor, he auditioned for Steve Urkel by emulating Martin Short's SNL character, Ed Grimley. Jaleel said, "I was just a 12-year old black kid doing an Ed Grimley impersonation ... because I'm African American, at this time, people are not thinking that my influences are white." The cast also talks about the origin of Steve Urkel's catchphrase, "Did I do that?" and gets emotional as they describe how they helped to raise Shawn Harrison (Waldo Faldo) after his mother passed away. The holiday season is when time-honored traditions are celebrated, and for more families each year, that includes watching ION Television's lineup of festive movie titles. Following its most-watched holiday season ever in 2016, ION will debut the U.S. television premieres of five all-new original holiday movies beginning November 26. The "Very Merry" lineup also features more than 20 returning favorites, airing weekends in December through Christmas Day. Last year's holiday lineup registered double-digit ratings growth in key demos, with Households, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 increasing more than 15% year over year. A Cinderella Christmas, new in 2016, was ION Television's highest rated movie in three years, delivering more than 1.7 million total viewers.

ION Television's holiday movie season kicks off Sunday, November 26, with the premiere of Snowmance at 9/8c. Among the stars headlining ION's all-new holiday movies include Ashley Newbrough, Travis Milne, Tara Reid, Haley Pullos, and Vivica A. Fox.. USA's Psych: The Movie will premiere Thursday, December 7 at 8/7c. You heard that right, Psych-O's! T-minus two months. The Psych stars reunited at New York Comic Con for a panel and Q&A discussion moderated by TVLine's founder and editor-in-chief Michael Ausiello. James Roday, Maggie Lawson, Kirsten Nelson and Corbin Bernsen, alongside creator Steve Franks and executive producer Chris Henze, shared fun behind-the-scene moments, challenged fans to participate in the ultimate pineapple toss and revealed WWE Superstar John Cena's return as Ewan O'Hara (Juliet's brother). After eight extraordinary seasons of the fan-favorite series' run which included a 100th episode milestone, a plethora of nicknames and catch phrases, a two-hour musical and A-list guest stars, cast James Roday, Dulé Hill, Maggie Lawson, Kirsten Nelson, Corbin Bernsen and Tim Omundson reunite for Psych: The Movie. Fake psychic detective Shawn Spencer and Burton "Gus" Guster open up their new office in San Francisco, appropriately (though perhaps awkwardly) named psychphrancisco, and are back in business solving a case after a mystery assailant targets one of their own. A comedic thrill ride follows, as the wild and unpredictable Psych team pursues the bad guys, justice ... and food!

Previously announced guest stars include Zachary Levi as Thin White Duke, Kurt Fuller as Woody the Coroner, Jazmyn Simon as Selene, Ralph Macchio as Nick Conforth, WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair as Heather Rockrear and Jimmi Simpson as Mary Lightly in his third posthumous appearance.
