After last week's announcement that The Talk was cancelled, it is probably no surprise that CBS has officially ordered the new soap opera that was rumored to take its place, The Gates. (Variety)
It seems that everybody is interested in Paramount, but nobody has quite closed in on the deal, and now Sony is in talks to be in a partnership to own the studio. (Reuters)
