It's time for another edition of Fri-Yay! That means we will take a look back on some sitcom happenings in recent days or weeks or other fun sitcomy stuff. It's a sitcom lover's paradise! Happy Fri-Yay!

Last Friday, Netflix premiered the third season of One Day at a Time, also known as the best traditional sitcom on television. I've talked a lot about the show over the years, and I'm going to be talking about it again, because the remake of the Norman Lear sitcom is just as warm, inviting, funny and vital in its third season. The show once again tackles some big issues, from sexuality to the #MeToo movement and even to drugs - but does so without ever feeling heavy-handed and while always being warm, approachable, and enjoyable.

There's so much to like about One Day at a Time. Its central family is incredibly lovable, the kind of family you kind of wish you were in yourself after a weekend binge of the series. Part of it is the excellent writing, but another part is the portrayal of the cast. The cast is absolutely attuned to their roles by this point - even the younger members of the ensemble, who have shaken off any early series jitters and now feel completely lived into their roles. The entire show - from the writing to the acting - just feels like an incredibly well-oiled machine at this point. It's also a machine that does a great job bringing tribute to the traditional multi-camera sitcom format, a format that increasingly feels as if it's being lost to the wind (especially with The Big Bang Theory in its twilight, although perhaps The Conners can pick up some of the slack.) One Day at a Time is the only proof you need that the multi-camera sitcom can still be a viable and enriching art form when given the proper care and respect. It uses the format for both its jokes and its drama - just like in the best multi-camera sitcoms, the audience laughter in hilarious moments is just as vital as the moment when things get "real" and you can hear a pindrop.

So please, please, please give One Day at a Time a chance if you haven't already. Although we never really know how Netflix shows are doing, the service seems to have gotten the cancellation bug in the past year, with so many shows receiving the ax or announcing their end. While some of those shows (like Kimmy Schmidt or Orange is the New Black) felt like they were near a natural conclusion, One Day at a Time is the type of show that I want to see run for years and years. It has plenty of life left in it, and the Alvarezes are the kind of family I want to spend so much more time with. The series gets critical acclaim, but doesn't seem to have the general popularity of some of Netflix's other shows such as Stranger Things or 13 Reasons Why. So please - give the show a chance and ensure us plenty of more years of this wonderful sitcom to come, especially if you're a fan of the traditional multi-camera sitcom. In 2019, the format doesn't get any better than this.

Bounce has licensed the broadcast television rights to the popular and NAACP Image Award-winning series Moesha and The Game in a multi-year agreement with CBS Television Distribution. Bounce lands all six seasons (127 episodes) of Moesha and all nine seasons (147 episodes) of The Game and will air the shows back-to-back weeknights with Moesha from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. and The Game between 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. effective immediately starting on Monday (Feb. 18, all times Eastern).

Moesha, one of the first sitcoms to center around an African-American teenage girl, stars R&B superstar Brandy Norwood as Moesha Mitchell, who's juggling school, friendships and romance in the Leimert Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. After previously being the female head of the household, Moesha must learn to love and trust her father's new wife while doing her best to be the "glue" that helps hold her family together. Moesha also stars Sheryl Lee Ralph, Countess Vaughn, Shar Jackson, William Allen Young, Marcus T. Paulk, Ray J, Lamont Bentley and Yvette Wilson. The series aired on UPN between from 1996 until 2001.

The Game follows the wives and girlfriends of pro football players and the power plays they use to get their guys the best agents, the best endorsements, the best merchandising deals - even the "in" charity. Tia Mowry stars as Melanie Barnett whose boyfriend, Derwin (Pooch Hall), is the new third-string wide receiver for the San Diego Sabers. As she deals with egos, groupies and image consultants, Melanie is finding out how "the game" is played among the women behind the athletes. Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez, Coby Bell, and Brittany Daniel round out the cast. The series, created by Mara Brock Akil, was a spin-off of the long-running hit series Girlfriends. It premiered on The CW in 2006 for three seasons and then moved to BET, where it set cable television ratings records.

As the massive renovation continues at The Brady Bunch house, HGTV is looking to America's biggest Brady fans to help it complete the design of the famous television family home. Before A Very Brady Renovation premieres in September, fans who own vintage furniture and décor items true to the original TV series are encouraged to contact HGTV via social media for a chance to see the special items featured in the series. High-demand items for The Brady Bunch home reno include the living room couch and credenza, Greg's attic radio, the front door handles and several of the home's legendary tchotchkes, such as the horse statue, fish trivets and stuffed animal giraffe. A complete photo gallery of the sought-after items is available at HGTV.com/Brady, as well as details for how to contact the network team about an item, including by direct message on HGTV's social media channels. Fans are asked to post a photo or video of the item on HGTV's Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the #verybradyreno hashtag.

A Very Brady Renovation will feature a full-scale overhaul of the world-famous Brady Bunch house in Los Angeles. Exterior shots of the real house were often used to establish a sense of time and place for the Brady family. In the coming months, HGTV will execute a show-stopping transformation by adding 2,000 square feet to its original footprint—all without compromising its instantly recognizable street view. The house will be replicated to include the floating staircase, the orange-and-green kitchen and the kids Jack-n-Jill bathroom. The Brady Bunch house will forever hold a special place in television history and American pop culture.

truTV has announced the premiere dates for a new block of back-to-back laughs this spring, kicking off on Thursday, March 28 with Impractical Jokers, returning for its eighth season of hysterical hijinks at 10:00pm ET/PT, followed immediately by the series premiere of Tacoma FD at 10:30pm ET/PT. Now entering its eighth season on truTV, the unscripted Impractical Jokers television series features four comedians and lifelong friends who compete to embarrass each other out amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares. Following the Season 8 premiere of Impractical Jokers, truTV will introduce its newest original series, Tacoma FD. On the heels of the breakout theatrical release of Super Troopers 2, co-creators and stars Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme will be donning new uniforms in the half-hour comedy, which is set in a firehouse in one of America's rainiest cities. Light on blazes that need extinguishing, this crew keeps themselves entertained with creative competitions, friendly first responder rivalries, and bizarre emergency calls. Leading firehouse shenanigans in the 10-episode first season are Chief Terry McConky (Heffernan) and Captain Eddie Penisi (Lemme), alongside an eclectic crew played by series regulars Hassie Harrison (Southbound), Eugene Cordero (Black Monday, The Good Place) Marcus Henderson (Get Out, Homecoming), and Gabriel Hogan (Heartland).

Rounding out the cast of Tacoma FD are guest stars Suzy Nakamura (Dr. Ken), who portrays an eager councilwoman with no patience for tomfoolery, and Heather Mazur (Insecure) as Chief McConky's wife and Captain Penisi's sister. Jimmy Tatro (American Vandal), Maria Russell (Lights Out) and Jamie Kaler (My Boys) will also guest star as members of the Tacoma Police Department (PD), Tacoma FD's first responder rivals. Additional guest stars throughout the season include: Super Troopers co-creator and star Paul Soter – who also serves as a writer and consulting producer for Tacoma FD – as well as JD Pardo, Nat Faxon, Martin Starr, Will Sasso, Christopher Neiman, Kevin Pereira and the Impractical Jokers' own Brian "Q" Quinn.

TBS has picked up Chad to pilot, a single-camera comedy that follows a 14-year-old Persian boy (played by Nasim Pedrad) during high school as he desperately tries to fit in, cope with his mother's dating life, and reconcile his cultural identity. The teenaged boy in the throes of puberty is played by Pedrad, who made her mark on Saturday Night Live. The Iranian-American actress is also creator, writer, executive producer and co-showrunner. Hayes Davenport is executive producer and co-showrunner. Oly Obst (3 Arts) and Rob Rosell serve as executive producers. Production on the pilot will begin this spring. TBS, which leads the TV industry with more top comedies than any other network, continues to attract fresh, award-winning talent. The #1 comedy network’s series include Miracle Workers, a heaven-set comedy that premieres February 12, and The Last O.G., both of which star diverse, powerhouse casts.

CBS All Access, CBS' digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, announced Lucy Liu will star in the service's upcoming darkly comedic drama Why Women Kill. Created by Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives, Devious Maids), Why Women Kill details the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the '60s, a socialite in the '80s and a lawyer in 2018, each dealing with infidelity in their marriages. The series will examine how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal... has not. Why Women Kill is produced by Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. Lucy Liu will star as Simone. Elegant, stylish, effervescent, Simone is the picture of urbane confidence, moving through the world as if it were a delightful movie starring herself. Smugly superior, a woman for whom appearances mean everything, she thrives on shopping and throwing parties, seemingly happily married to her indulgent husband, Karl, who thinks she is simply fabulous. However, despite nagging premonitions, Simone is devastated, her world upended, when she learns that Karl has been cheating on her.

Take a vow to watch Antenna TV this Valentine's Day! All day long your favorite characters will fall in love and get married during the Antenna TV Wedding Party Marathon. Comedy Central, the #1 brand in comedy, announced a new late night series with David Spade; the return of Crank Yankers; a second season order for new, hit scripted series The Other Two; the first look at new scripted comedy South Side; and scripted projects in development with Naomi Ekperigin, Matteo Lane and Samantha Irby. The announcements come on the heels of Comedy Central's seventh consecutive quarter of year-over-year share growth. While Comedy Central remains the #1 full-day cable entertainment network with people 18-34, in 2018 the brand recorded its highest-rated year among women 18-49 since 2014, up +13% from the previous year. To start 2019, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah is the highest-rated late night series across all of TV among men 18-34.

Comedy icon David Spade will lead a new 11:30 p.m. series featuring his signature take on the pop culture news of the day (watch his announcement here). The yet-to-be-titled nightly series will include a rotating group of Spade's comedian and celebrity friends, while also incorporating field segments that mirror his popular Instagram stories. The show will follow The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on Monday through Thursday nights starting later this year. The show is executive produced by Spade, Alex Murray and Marc Gurvitz. Brad Wollack and Tom Brunelle of Free 90 Media serve as executive producers and showrunners. Comedy Central ordered 20 episodes of 30-minute comedy Crank Yankers, marking the beloved series' return to the brand.

The brand ordered a second season of the critically-adored 30-minute series The Other Two, which is already "Certified Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes. Created and written by former Saturday Night Live head-writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, the Emmy-contending series stars Drew Tarver as a 28-year-old actor struggling to get better auditions than "Man At Party Who Smells Fart," and Heléne Yorke as his 30-year-old sister, who is struggling in general. As the two work toward finding themselves, their lives are completely upended when their 13-year-old brother, ChaseDreams played by Case Walker, becomes incredibly famous overnight. The Other Two also features Molly Shannon, who plays the siblings' fame-ready mother, Ken Marino as ChaseDreams' newly-hired manager and Wanda Sykes as Chase's publicist. The series airs Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Scripted comedy South Side debuted its first look ahead of a summer premiere and teased the first season guest stars, which includes Lil Rel Howery, Nathaniel "Earthquake" Stroman, Jeff Tweedy, LisaRaye McCoy, Kel Mitchell and Ed Lover. The aspirational, scripted comedy is set in and around the working class neighborhood of Englewood on the South Side of Chicago.

Hallmark Channel, the worldwide leader in celebrations, announces the 10th anniversary of America's favorite, most-watched holiday tradition, "Countdown to Christmas" at the bi-annual Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour. Hallmark Channel will honor the 10th anniversary of "Countdown to Christmas" with the biggest holiday season yet, featuring a programming extravaganza of a world record number of original premieres, celebrated talent, holiday specials and more! Currently, the network is in production on its first original holiday movie, The Christmas Song, starring Kristin Chenoweth, Scott Wolf and directed by Eric Close. Among the other MANY items they announced: Hallmark Channel will add "Countdown to Summer" to its lineup of programming events celebrating the seasons and special occasions with three new, original movie premieres in the month of May. As temperatures around the country begin to rise and people yearn for the longer days ahead, the network will offer a fresh slate of movies designed to transport viewers to the upcoming carefree days of summer and whet their appetites for the sun, sand and romance that populate the warmer months. This newest addition joins Hallmark Channel's popular "Winterfest," "Countdown to Valentine's Day," "Spring Fever," "June Weddings" "Fall Harvest" and the event that started it all, "Countdown to Christmas.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries announces it will launch Signature Mystery, the premiere Sunday night destination on television for thrilling mysteries featuring a slate of all-new mystery franchises and the return of the network's highest-rated mystery series. On the heels of successful ratings in Q4, the network unveils plans for new installments of returning, popular mystery franchises including Garage Sale Mysteries, starring Lori Loughlin; Aurora Teagarden Mysteries starring Candace Cameron Bure; Hailey Dean Mysteries, starring Kellie Martin and based on the books by Nancy Grace; and Morning Show Mysteries, starring Holly Robinson Peete and Rick Fox and based on the books by Al Roker and Dick Lochte. The returning hit franchises will be joined by all-new mysteries, Chronicle Mysteries, starring Alison Sweeney, Crossword Mysteries starring Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott and inspired by Will Shortz, crossword editor of The New York Times; and Picture Perfect Mysteries (wt) starring Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega.

The Emmy(R)-winning comedy series Veep kicks off its seven-episode, seventh and final season Sunday, March 31 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively on HBO. The show stars Emmy(R) and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, who is hitting the campaign trail as she runs for president. The series is also available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners' streaming platforms. The ensemble cast of the show also includes two-time Emmy(R) winner Tony Hale as Gary, her devoted bodyman; Emmy(R) nominee Anna Chlumsky as Amy, her right hand; Emmy(R) nominee Matt Walsh as Mike, her former spokesperson; Reid Scott as the ultra-ambitious Dan; Timothy C. From the minds of fresh, exciting talents Julio Torres and Ana Fabrega, alongside Fred Armisen and Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live, comes the primarily Spanish-language comedy series Los Espookys, which begins its six-episode season this June on HBO. The half-hour series follows a group of friends who turn their love for horror into a peculiar business, providing horror to those who need it, in a dreamy Latin American country where the strange and eerie are just part of daily life. Starring Bernardo Velasco, Cassandra Ciangherotti, Ana Fabrega, Julio Torres and Fred Armisen, Los Espookys was created by Fred Armisen & Ana Fabrega & Julio Torres, and executive produced by Fred Armisen, Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer.

Renaldo (Bernardo Velasco), a horror and gore enthusiast, assembles his friends to form Los Espookys. Noble, kind, naïve, and always running out of cellphone minutes, he's joined by Ursula (Cassandra Ciangherotti), a tough, calm and collected dental assistant who handles the logistics and execution of Los Espookys' work, like making sure they get paid for their spooks. Also in the group is Ursula's sister, Tati (Ana Fabrega), who constantly juggles several odd jobs, such as breaking in other people's shoes and counting people's steps. She acts as Los Espookys' test dummy. Rounding out Los Espookys is Renaldo's best friend, Andres (Julio Torres), a dark and mysterious heir to a chocolate empire who longs to unlock the secrets to his past and avoid his beautiful boyfriend. Meanwhile, Renaldo's reliable uncle, Tico (Fred Armisen), is living his dream of parking cars as a prodigious valet driver in LA.

Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! It's been a really busy week of news this week, and we've got some of the highlights for you here (but check out some of our posts from earlier this week for more!). We're hearing about some new comedy pilots at ABC, the end of a sitcom era as another ABC sitcom is renewed for a final season, and even a marathon of Redd Foxx's last sitcom that is airing on Decades today. Let's get going!

It's time for another edition of Fri-Yay! That means we will take a look back on some sitcom happenings in recent days or weeks or other fun sitcomy stuff. It's a sitcom lover's paradise! Happy Fri-Yay!

The end of yet another sitcom has been announced - Modern Family was renewed for an 11th and final season this week on ABC, with confirmation that the 2019-2020 TV season will be the final one for the landmark family comedy. It's yet another announced ending in a year that is seeing a lot of veteran comedies announcing their end. Just this year alone, we have The Big Bang Theory, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Broad City, You're the Worst and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend coming to an end. Next year, we already have the confirmed ending for Modern Family. There's quite a lot of sitcoms coming to their close within the next year or so - confirming that it's the end of an era for TV comedy.

As the decade draws to a close, it's not particularly surprising to see shows bowing out, but it certainly serves as proof that things are going to begin changing for sitcoms. The loss will be particularly felt by the end of Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory, arguably the two biggest sitcoms on network TV for the better part of this decade. As these two huge shows begin to wind down, there's really nothing in the works that immediately suggests it'll be taking their place as the commercial center of the sitcom universe. There are other hit sitcoms, to be sure - ABC still has a solid roster of family comedies (though the rest of their slate is beginning to age as well), CBS has Big Bang spin-off Young Sheldon pulling in big numbers, and of course there's The Conners still doing quite well. But nothing has burst onto the scene quite as much as those two shows did at their peak. Perhaps as we move deeper into the streaming age, huge, landmark sitcoms like these two on broadcast television might become a thing of the past, and sitcoms will become more and more niche-orientated. Time will tell - but until then, enjoy this last year of Modern Family while you can.

Jane Seymour, Jacqueline Bisset & Paul Reiser join Michael Douglas & Alan Arkin in season 2 of The Kominsky Method. The trio of actors will be joining Douglas and Arkin in the second season as recurring guest stars in multiple episodes. Jane Seymour plays Madelyn, a seventy-something, well-to-do woman who Norman (Arkin) had a mad love affair with in the Sixties before he met his wife. Fifty years later, they meet and start again. Jacqueline Bisset plays Gabrielle, Mindy's (Sarah Baker) mom and Sandy's (Douglas) French ex-wife who delights in still being able to push the buttons of her ex-husband. Ans Paul Reiser plays Martin, a sixty-something high school teacher who gets romantically involved with Sandy's (Douglas) daughter, Mindy (Baker).

The sun isn't setting yet on the once famous Sandy Kominsky and his longtime agent Norman Newlander. Academy Award(R) Winners Michael Douglas (Kominsky) and Alan Arkin (Newlander) continue their journey as two friends tackling life's inevitable curveballs as they navigate their later years in Los Angeles, a city that values youth and beauty. Both comedic and emotional, The Kominsky Method is a half-hour single camera comedy created by 8-time Emmy Award Nominee Chuck Lorre. Lorre, Al Higgins and Michael Douglas executive produce the series which is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions, Inc. in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Making history yet again, The Simpsons has been renewed for its 31st and 32nd seasons on Fox, by which time, the series will have produced 713 episodes. "Woo hoo! 32 Seasons! Watch your back Meet the Press," said Homer Simpson. The longest-running primetime scripted show in television history, The Simpsons exploded into a cultural phenomenon in 1990 and has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world. Currently airing its historic 30th season, The Simpsons has won 33 Emmy Awards, 34 Annie Awards, a 2016 People's Choice Award and a 2016 Environmental Media Award. It was the first animated series to win a Peabody Award and was nominated for an Academy Award in 2012 for the theatrical short "The Longest Daycare." "The Simpsons Movie" was a hit feature film, the mega-attraction "The Simpsons Ride" at Universal Studios has received historic expansion updates with the addition of "Springfield" and the show was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2000. It has been named the "Best Show of the 20th Century" by Time magazine and called the "Best TV Show Ever" by Vulture in 2016.

CBS announced that it has renewed the critically acclaimed, top-rated comedy series Mom for two more seasons, and series stars Anna Faris and Academy and Emmy Award winner Allison Janney have reached new agreements with Warner Bros. Television to return for both years. Mom is the #3 most-watched comedy in broadcast television (behind only CBS' The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon) and is a top five comedy among adults 25-54. Mom premiered on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 and moved to Thursdays at the start of season two. Mimi Kennedy, Jaime Pressly, Beth Hall and William Fichtner also star. Chuck Lorre, Nick Bakay, Gemma Baker and Warren Bell are executive producers for Chuck Lorre Productions, Inc. in association with Warner Bros. Television. The series was created by Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky and Gemma Baker. Mom joins the previously renewed freshman hits FBI, God Friends Me, Magnum P.I. and The Neigborhood, and the final season of Criminal Minds, on CBS' 2019-2020 lineup.

There were tons of updates from the TCA Winter 2019 Press Tour from ABC and cable network Freeform yesterday. Currently in its 10th season, ABC announced today that it has picked up the Emmy(R) Award-winning series Modern Family for an 11th and final season. This wonderfully large and blended family will continue to delight audiences for the 2019-2020 fall schedule with its honest and often hilarious look into the warm and sometimes twisted embrace of the modern family. Produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions and Picador Productions, the series airs Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. EST on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. ABC announced that it has renewed the hit drama The Good Doctor for a third season, A Million Little Things for a second season and Shark Tank for an 11th season. American Housewife will air two special music-themed episodes this spring. The American Idol episode, airing Tuesday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m. EDT, includes special appearances by music industry forces and the superstar judges of ABC's American Idol, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, along with Emmy(R) Award-winning host and producer Ryan Seacrest. The season finale, "A Mom's Parade," will air Tuesday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m. EDT. The extraordinary musical episode includes four original songs by renowned composer Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman, Dear Evan Hansen) and Glenn Slater (Tangled, School of Rock-The Musical), as well as choreography from famed choreographer Ashley Wallen (La La Land, The Greatest Showman).

ABC will air a special first-look episode of Videos After Dark, a new comedy reality series hosted by comedian Bob Saget and featuring home videos with an edgier twist, Tuesday, March 12 at 10:00 p.m. EDT), following the epic conclusion to the two-night season finale of The Bachelor, on The ABC Television Network. Avoiding a sophomore slump, critically acclaimed series grown-ish has been picked up for a third season on Freeform. Starring Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat and Deon Cole; the series is a contemporary take on the issues that students face in the world of higher education. Freeform announced that Jordin Sparks (Sparkle), Matt Shively (The Real O'Neals) and newcomer Brooks Brantly have been cast in the highly anticipated new comedy series Besties (working title). Sparks will play Becca; an ambitious overachiever from a hard-working, conservative African-American family, who learns that her birth mother is actually white. Shively will portray Matt, a former athlete and current bar manager, who can't completely let go of his glory days. Brantly will portray Becca's brother Todd, a mama's boy who still lives in their parent's basement. Set in Los Angeles, the series will follow Becca and her newly discovered half-sister Jesi, as they're thrown into each other's lives by an online genetics test and have to figure out how to go from strangers to sisters. Ranada Shepard, Casey Johnson and David Windsor serve as creators and executive producers. Kenya Barris also serves as executive producer.

Critically acclaimed series Marvel's Cloak & Dagger returns Thursday, April 4 and is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) - two teenagers from very different backgrounds who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers, which are mysteriously linked to one another. The only constants in their lives are danger and each other. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to control the power of darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart. The latest headline from Scarlet Magazine - The Bold Type returns for season three on Tuesday, April 9, at 8:00 p.m. EST/PST. Picking up right after the heartbreak, romance and uncertainty from the season two finale in Paris, The Bold Type is back in New York City where Jane, Kat and Sutton are all dealing with the aftermath of some major decisions. Meanwhile, Scarlet Magazine is undergoing some changes, with new staffers brought on board who bound to ruffle some feathers. Freeform announced the premiere date of the highly anticipated spinoff series Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. As Freeform's session came to end, the network lined up a group of women in iconic red trench coats to pay homage to the groundbreaking series that defined a generation. Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists will premiere on Wednesday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. EST/PST. And finally, At today's Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, Freeform President Tom Ascheim surprised the cast members of Good Trouble with a season two pickup of the critically acclaimed series, which is currently airing on the network. 

According to Jim is coming to Laff, as we mentioned. Now we have a start date and timings. The hit Jim Belushi sitcom will launch on Monday, March 4 and air multiple times per day. It will air weekdays 10-11am, 5-7pm and 11pm-12am. The series will also air Sunday mornings from 8-9am. That's a whole lotta Jim and company! According to Jim hasn't been seen since it aired on TBS and local syndication. Laff will also air an According to Jim marathon on Saturday, March 30 from 1pm-7pm. Laff also airs Grounded for Life, Spin City, Home Improvement, 3rd Rock from the Sun, The Drew Carey Show, That '70s Show, Grace Under Fire, and A Different World. In addition to Jim, Laff is adding World's Funniest Videos to early mornings. Laff is removing Night Court from the line-up come March and no word if it will return at a later date. In advance of the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour session, Freeform announces the pickup to series of the reboot of fan-favorite Party of Five from the original creators, Amy Lippman and Chris Keyser. 10 episodes have been ordered. From Sony Pictures Television, the one-hour drama will follow the five Acosta children (fka Buendia) as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported to Mexico. The series stars Brandon Larracuente as Emilio, Emily Tosta as Lucia, Niko Guardado as Beto and Elle Paris Legaspi as Valentina. The pilot was co-written by Lippman, Keyser and newcomer Michal Zebede. The series is created by Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman, who also serve as executive producers and writers. Rodrigo Garcia also serves as executive producer and directed the pilot. Michal Zebede serves as co-executive producer and writer.

NBC's proud comedy legacy, which has opened doors for countless comedians, is ready to Bring the Funny with a new competition series for the next generation of comedy lovers. The series will feature the world's best comedic acts and, for the first time on television, embrace every style of comedy performance in one competition. The 10-episode series will bring together some of the most prolific comedians in the industry to serve as judges - Saturday Night Live's longest-running cast member Kenan Thompson, cultural tastemaker Chrissy Teigen and comedy icon Jeff Foxworthy. Comedian Amanda Seales will serve as host for the competition. No word yet on an airdate, so stay tuned.

In partnership with the international organization Just for Laughs, which has given rise to some of today's most successful comedic acts via its iconic festivals, tours and television series, Bring the Funny will feature the best of the best stand-ups, sketch troupes and comedic variety acts. From solo comics to sketch troupes to musicians, magicians, podcasters, puppeteers, YouTubers and more - anyone who can make audiences laugh will have the chance to receive the career-changing $250,000 prize package and see their name in lights in the Bring the Funny showcase.

To celebrate the 300th episode of the hit series, Supernatural, TNT has curated the top 25 fan-favorite episodes, which will air this week (February 4–7). In the series, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. Subsequently, their father John raised them to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America ... and he taught them how to kill it. The 300th episode airs Thursday, February 7 at 8:00pm on The CW.
