Amazon MGM Studios Orders Improvised Sitcom; The CW Renews Game Shows for Season 3

Amazon MGM Studios has ordered DINKS (Dual Income No Kids), a first-of-its kind improvised multi-camera sitcom from Okay Goodnight, the production company founded by Emmy and Golden Globe-winning television writer, producer and showrunner Marta Kauffman (Friends, Grace and Frankie), one of television's most influential comedic voices.
The series comes to Amazon MGM Studios through an innovative partnership with Lionsgate and Publicis Media Content Innovation (PMCI) - the specialty entertainment division of Publicis Media - that reimagines the television financing model by bringing together a streamer, a studio and a media agency outside the traditional film and television ecosystem.
DINKS is co-created by Kauffman and Hannah K.S. Canter, and produced by their Okay Goodnight banner, Lionsgate Television and Amazon MGM Studios. Real-life married couple June Diane Raphael and Paul Scheer star in and executive produce the series, with Jon Gabrus set as a series regular. The comedy is about Josh (Scheer) and Charlie (Raphael), a couple who, in the absence of a marriage or kids, decide to literally build a life together by renovating their nightmare of a dream house.

The CW Network announced pickup orders for its three most successful original unscripted series, renewing Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit for a third season with new one-hour episodes, along with a fourth-season order for new one-hour episodes of Police 24/7.
Hosted by Emmy(R) Award-winning actor and comedian Craig Ferguson, Scrabble brings the iconic Hasbro word game to life as contestants put their vocabulary, strategy and quick thinking to the test for the chance to win life-changing cash prizes. Hosted by Emmy(R) and Grammy Award-winning entertainer LeVar Burton, Trivial Pursuit, developed by Hasbro Entertainment and inspired by the iconic Hasbro board game, transforms one of the world's most recognizable trivia brands into a fast-paced competition where contestants put their knowledge to the test across a wide range of categories. Along with the upcoming unscripted adaptation of Monopoly, the series is part of Hasbro Entertainment's portfolio of television programming based on the most beloved brands.
Executive produced by acclaimed unscripted producer SallyAnn Salsano through her Mullholland Media, Police 24/7 has been renewed for a fourth season. The series provides unprecedented access to law enforcement agencies across the country, following officers on patrol as they respond to emergencies, investigate crimes and serve their communities.

TV Legend Henry Winkler's New HISTORY Series; The CW Renews Family Law

Hosted, narrated, and executive produced by Emmy(R) Award-winning TV legend Henry Winkler (Happy Days), Hazardous History with Henry Winkler premieres Sunday, June 15 at 10/9c on The HISTORY Channel.
Each 60-minute episode of this nostalgia-drenched series tells the stories of the things we did for fun, for money, or out of plain boredom that you can't do anymore. Pastimes, practices, and products that were once allowed, even encouraged, which you will never see again in modern America. There was a time, not long ago, when doctors would recommend smoking, and when we stored our food in toxic refrigerators, and unknowingly played with radioactive toys, flew down slides that ripped our skin off, and decorated our Christmas tree with ornaments made from asbestos. Fast-paced, informative, and a little bit scary, from perilous playgrounds to precarious products, it's a running cavalcade of the most exciting, reckless, unsupervised tales of Americana in our history.

The CW Network announced the original scripted drama series Family Law starring Jewel Staite (Firefly, The L.A. Complex) and Victor Garber (DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Alias) will return for a 10-episode fourth season on Wednesday, July 23 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT). As Season 4 kicks off, Abigail's (Jewel Staite) home, work and romantic life are up in flames. Her boyfriend Ben (Benjamin Ayres) has fallen off the wagon, Sofia (Eden Summer Gilmore) has written a devastating essay about her mother’s alcoholism and Harry (Victor Garber) has passed her over for equity partnership.
