As previously mentioned, The Big Bang Theory is headed to Nick at Nite, starting Tuesday.
There will be plenty of Christmas marathons (too many to mention here!) next week, but for fans of classic sitcoms, the most comprehensive one will be Antenna TV's Classic Christmas Collection, which will air on Tuesday, and their Christmas Through the Years marathon on Wednesday.

Bob Hearts Abishola Coming to Syndication This Fall; Off Script With The Hollywood Reporter Returns in May

Bob Hearts Abishola is ending its run on CBS this spring but it will premiere in broadcast syndication this fall for a three-year deal on such station groups as Nexstar Media Group, Sinclair, Hearst Television, Tegna, E.W. Scripps, Weigel Broadcasting, Sunbeam Television, Gray Television, Mission Broadcasting, Lockwood Broadcast Group and Bahakel Broadcasting. It will join other fellow Chuck Lorre sitcoms in broadcast syndication - The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Mom and Two and a Half Men. The sitcom stars Billy Gardell as Bob, a middle-aged compression sock businessman in Detroit who falls for his cardiac nurse, Abishola (Folake Olowofoyeku), a Nigerian immigrant, while recovering from a heart attack. Undaunted by Abishola’s initial lack of interest or vast differences in their backgrounds, Bob is determined to win her heart, and eventually marries her in this comedic examination of immigrant life in America.

The Hollywood Reporter (THR) announced the return of the Emmy(R)-nominated series, Off Script With The Hollywood Reporter with five new episodes of Emmy contenders, featuring themed episodes including Comedy Actress, Drama Actor, Comedy Actor, Drama Actress and Stand-Up. The new season is set to premiere on Friday, May 24, at a new time of 10 pm PT/1 am ET exclusively on IFC and streaming on AMC+. New episodes will continue on Fridays.

TCA Winter 2024 Press Tour: The CW; Girls5eva Season 3 Premieres March 14

The CW Network announced spring premiere dates for new and returning series, including new seasons of the hit scripted series All American and Walker, new drama series Sight Unseen, returning docuseries 100 Days to Indy and new unscripted series Lovers and Liars, Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker, Police 24/7 and Hostage Rescue. The critically acclaimed sports drama series All American returns for a sixth season on Monday, April 1 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT). Following the season premiere of All American, a special sneak peek at the premiere of The CW's dating competition series Lovers and Liars, a spinoff of FBoy Island where three single men on a tropical island must determine which 24 women are there for love or cash, will air on Monday, April 1 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT) hosted by Nikki Glaser. The series will then move to its regular day and time on Thursday, April 11 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).

The hit drama Walker starring Jared Padalecki saddles up for its fourth season on Wednesday, April 3 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT). The CW's newest scripted crime procedural drama series, Sight Unseen, makes its much-anticipated debut on Wednesday, April 3 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT) starring Dolly Lewis. The series is a Canadian production. The queen of matchmaking returns to television to help a fresh batch of clients desperate to find love in the new unscripted series, Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker, on Thursday, April 11 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT). The motorsports documentary series, 100 Days to Indy, revs up for a second season of high-speed racing action on Friday, April 26 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT). And Tuesdays feature a pair of heart-stopping, action-packed unscripted series centering around law enforcement with Police 24/7 premiering on Tuesday, April 30 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) followed by the thrilling series, Hostage Rescue (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).

The CW Network also announced it has picked up the new original scripted drama series Sherlock & Daughter starring Emmy® Award-nominated actor David Thewlis (Harry Potter, Fargo) as the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes. Additionally, the network has ordered a pair of game shows based on the classic board games Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble produced by Hasbro Entertainment alongside Lionsgate Alternative Television.

The show must go on! Now on Netflix. The members of the late '90s girl-group Girls5eva - Dawn, Wickie, Summer, and Gloria - have reunited and recorded a new album, Returnity, so it's time for the next logical step: a comeback tour. With no plan, tour manager, or venues secured, the ladies pile into a van and hit the great unknown, doing their damnedest to promote their album and get back on top. In the process, Girls5eva will grapple with life on the road, see their relationships tested, play a billionaire's birthday party, sow their oats, confront parents they believe held them back, cross paths with the biggest pop star on the planet, and question if they really want "the big time" again. Will Girls5eva fast-track their comeback and sell their tour documentary in the process? Or will the road destroy them? Girls5eva Moving to Netflix for Season 3; The Weird Place Podcast from Team Coco Launching

Netflix announced a season three greenlight for musical comedy series Girls5eva, from creator/showrunner/executive producer Meredith Scardino, executive producer Tina Fey and Universal Television. Netflix will be the exclusive home to the third season and it also acquired co-exclusive global streaming rights to the first two seasons of the critically-acclaimed Emmy(R) Award-nominated comedy. Girls5eva stars Grammy(R) Award-winner and Tony(R) and Emmy(R) Award-nominated singer Sara Bareilles (Dawn); Grammy(R) and Tony(R) Award-winning actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry (Wickie); Emmy(R) Award-winning Saturday Night Live mainstay and comedy icon Paula Pell (Gloria); and New York Times Best-Selling author, actor, activist, writer and host Busy Philipps (Summer). The Weird Place

Conan O'Brien's award winning digital media brand and podcast company, Team Coco, is continuing its expansion into the podcast world with its newest scripted podcast, The Weird Place, debuting today - Monday, October 31. The 5-part limited podcast series, voiced and executive produced by Dana Carvey, will drop episodes daily that feature a new story and an after show titled Talking Weird. Co-produced by Carvey's new production company, Antonio's Deli, The Weird Place is loosely set in the 1960's and will take listeners back in time to a place full of supernatural occurrences. "Our vibe is earnest and our Narrator's name is Rod - that tells you all you need to know" says Carvey. "Conan O'Brien and Team Coco were the perfect partners on this project. They let us have total freedom to create whatever we wanted. I hope people like listening to it as much as we loved making it."

Dancing with the Stars

After an impressive 30 seasons on ABC, Dancing with the Stars is moving to a new home on Disney+. The hit series received a two-season pickup and will premiere exclusively in the U.S. and Canada this Fall, making Dancing with the Stars the first live series to debut on the streaming service. Produced in front of a live audience by BBC Studios' Los Angeles production arm, the show pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines. Dancing with the Stars first premiered on ABC in 2005 and has grown into an international phenomena and source of constant watercooler conversation. During its Fall 2021 run, ABC's Dancing with the Stars ranked among the Top 5 unscripted series with Adults 18-49. Abbott Elementary Renewed for Season 2; Girls5eva Returns May 5 on Peacock

ABC has renewed Abbott Elementary for a second season for 2022-23. Principal Ava announced it herself:

Netflix's Popular Never Have I Ever Returns July 15; Peacock's Girls5eva Renewed for Season 2

Countdown time homies! Never Have I Ever season 2 premieres July 15 only on Netflix! In the comedy, after a traumatic year, all an Indian-American teen wants is to go from pariah to popular — but friends, family and feelings won't make it easy on her. There will some new faces this season, as Megan Suri plays a new student at Sherman Oaks High, whose confidence and radiance will pose an immediate threat to Devi (series star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan). Utkarsh Ambudkar and P.J. Byrne will recur as Mr. Kulkarni, "the coolest teacher on staff at Sherman Oaks High"; and Evan, "a head research assistant in Kamala's program at Caltech." And there will be plenty of special guest stars like Common. The series created by and produced by Mindy Kaling, was a major success for Netflix in spring 2020 during the pandemic. The series stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi Vishwakumar, Poorna Jagannathan as Dr. Nalini Vishwakumar, Darren Barnet as Paxton Hall-Yoshida, Ramona Young as Eleanor Wong, Lee Rodriguez as Fabiola Torres, Richa Moorjani as Kamala, Jaren Lewison as Ben Gross, and John McEnroe as himself.

Critically acclaimed Peacock Original comedy series Girls5eva has been renewed for a second season. Season one of the series reached "Certified Fresh" status on Rotten Tomatoes, with the Top Critic rating remaining at 100%. All eight episodes of season one are streaming now on Peacock. The Price Is Right at Night Welcomes Two Funny Celebs; Peacock Comedy Girls5eva Premieres May 6

CBS' daytime game show The Price Is Right, hosted by Drew Carey, returns to primetime this spring on the CBS Television Network when The Price Is Right at Night welcomes Tiffany Haddish and Lilly Singh to "come on down" and play alongside contestants for charity. On Wednesday, April 21, (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) late night talk show host Lilly Singh will play for "Room to Read," the non-profit helping millions of kids in low-income communities become independent readers and supporting girls to complete school with the skills and confidence to follow their dreams. Lilly and contestants will have the opportunity to play fan favorite games, including Cliff Hangers, for amazing prizes such as trip to St. Lucia and a Mercedes. Plus, she will present one lucky contestant with a special themed showcase. Cobra Kai Season 3 Premiere Date, 4th Season Renewal; Busy Philipps Joins Peacock Comedy Girls5eva

As Kreese says, "The story is just beginning." Season 3 of Cobra Kai premieres January 8, 2021, only on Netflix. And gear up because Season 4 is officially training to join the fight. Cobra Kai Never Dies. Cobra Kai, the series continuation of the iconic The Karate Kid film franchise from Sony Pictures Television. The film's stars, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka reprise their star-making roles in the series along with Martin Kove as sensei John Kreese. Cobra Kai takes place 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where a now successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) struggles to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of Mr. Miyagi, and must face his previous adversary, down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. The acclaimed and much-talked-about Cobra Kai was named 2018's Best Drama by Rotten Tomatoes, earning a rare 100% Fresh rating for its first season. It has received two Emmy nominations.

Busy Philipps

New York Times Best-Selling author, actor, activist, writer and host Busy Philipps is set to star in Girls5eva, the upcoming Peacock comedy from Tina Fey, Robert Carlock and Meredith Scardino. Philipps joins the previously announced cast including Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Emmy nominee and Broadway actress Sara Bareilles, and Grammy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry. Peacock Bulks Up on New Comedies; New Saved by the Bell Trailer Released

The highly anticipated action comedy series MacGruber has been picked up to series. Based on the iconic SNL parody sketch, Peacock has ordered eight half-hour episodes. Will Forte will reprise his iconic role as MacGruber and also write and executive produce. The Peacock series is an adaptation of the 2010 feature film and cult favorite of the same title, which will also feature the original creative team behind the camera. After rotting in prison for over a decade, America's ultimate hero and uber patriot MacGruber (Will Forte) is finally released. His mission: to take down a mysterious villain from his past - Brigadier Commander Enos Queeth. With the entire world in the crosshairs, MacGruber must race against time to defeat the forces of evil -- only to find that evil... may be lurking within.

Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Emmy nominee and Broadway star Sara Bareilles is set to lead the Tina Fey and Robert Carlock produced series Girls5eva. When a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90's gets sampled by a young rapper, its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can't they also be Girls5eva? Bareilles will star as Dawn, former member of the short-lived 90s girl group Girls5eva, who is now a bit restless in life managing her family's small Italian restaurant in Queens. When the opportunity arises, Dawn reluctantly gets the band back together for a Girls5eva reunion and it might just be exactly what she needed.

The upcoming comedy Rutherford Falls from co-creators and executive producers Michael Schur, Ed Helms and Sierra Teller Ornelas has set its initial cast with Jana Schmieding, Michael Greyeyes, Jesse Leigh and Dustin Milligan. A small town in upstate New York and the Native American reservation it borders, are turned upside down when local legend and town namesake, Nathan Rutherford (Ed Helms) fights the moving of a historical statue. Jana Schmieding will star as Reagan Wells, Nathan's best friend since childhood. Incredibly smart and hopelessly principled, Reagan dreams of making her tribe's modest Cultural Center into a world-renowned museum. Michael Greyeyes (I Know This Much Is True) will star as Terry Tarbell. Terry is the CEO of his tribe's mid-level casino. Shrewd and charismatic, he's also Reagan's boss and has big plans for both her and their tribe. Jesse Leigh (Heathers) will star as Bobbie Yang, Nathan's non-binary teenage intern/executive assistant. Bobbie is an outspoken and ambitious first generation American, doing everything possible to escape their tiny hometown. Dustin Milligan (Schitt's Creek) will star as Josh Cogan, A reporter/podcaster who takes an interest in the goings-on in Rutherford Falls.

Peacock has announced a new weekly topical late-night block with series anchored by Amber Ruffin and Larry Wilmore. Each show will bring even more comedy, timeliness and current news to the service. Each week The Amber Ruffin Show will showcase Amber's signature smart and silly take on the week's news. No matter what's happening in the world, Amber will respond to it with a charming mix of seriousness, nonsense, and evening gowns. The Amber Ruffin Show is a topical late-night show with just the good parts - the comedy. Peacock has ordered nine half-hour episodes which is set to launch in September. Emmy Award-winning producer, actor and comedian Larry Wilmore is bringing his distinct voice to streaming with a new weekly special series. Larry will have real discussions with high profile people from all different backgrounds including sports, politics and entertainment. Each episode will not only cover the election but will also engage in the important conversations of the week. It will be funny, sometimes serious, potentially awkward and most definitely honest. Peacock has ordered 11 episodes of the Untitled Larry Wilmore Show, which is set to launch in September.

Sticking with Peacock, they have released the trailer for the Saved by the Bell revival. It will be a single-camera comedy (the original series was a traditional multi-camera sitcom). When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the highest performing schools in the state - including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the over privileged Bayside kids a much needed and hilarious dose of reality. Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley Lauren reprise their roles from the original series, with specials appearances by Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen.
