Sitcom Stars Pair Up on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire; TV One Premieres Raising Fame

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire's 25th anniversary premiere episode will feature Kenan & Kel alums and Good Burger 2 stars Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell competing for the grand prize, as well as Oh, Hello on Broadway stars John Mulaney and Nick Kroll. The additional celebrity pairings hold just as close of a bond as they include sitcom stars Full House alums John Stamos and Dave Coulier, Everybody Loves Raymond and Bupkis stars Ray Romano and Brad Garrett, Scrubs alums Zach Braff and Donald Faison, Dave stars Lil Dicky and GaTa, Bookie stars Sebastian Maniscalco and Omar J. Dorsey, Community alums Gillian Jacobs and Danny Pudi, and Another Period stars Natasha Leggero and Jason Ritter.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire premieres Wednesday, July 10 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Take a peek behind the curtain as the premiere of new docu-series Raising Fame takes center stage Sunday, July 7 at 10P/9C on TV One. Hosted by celebrity moms Lucille O'Neal (mom of Shaquille O'Neal) and Sonya Curry (mom of Stephen, Seth, and Sydel Curry), Raising Fame provides an intimate look into the lives of some of today's biggest stars, told by the people who raised them. Bupkis Renewed for Season 2; Michelle Buteau's Survival of the Thickest Premieres July 13

Peacock's critically acclaimed comedy series, Bupkis, from executive producer Lorne Michaels and starring Pete Davidson, Edie Falco, and Joe Pesci, has been renewed for a second season. Bupkis comes from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Broadway Video. Bupkis season one premiered on May 4. It is a comedy following Pete Davidson as he attempts to work through unique family dynamics and the complexities of fame to form meaningful relationships. The CW Summer 2023 Premiere Dates; Peacock's Bupkis Gets NBC Airing

The CW Network announced summer 2023 premiere dates for new scripted series Son of a Critch, Run the Burbs, Children Ruin Everything and Moonshine, as well as the premieres of alternative series Recipe for Disaster, FBoy Island, Down to Earth with Zac Efron, Fantastic Friends and limited series Greatest Geek Year Ever: 1982. These premieres are joined by the returning series Bump, Family Law and Great Chocolate Showdown.

Family Law starring Jewel Staite and Victor Garber returns with season two on Friday, July 7 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) followed by the dysfunctional family comedy-drama Moonshine (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT) from creator and executive producer Sheri Elwood and starring Jennifer Finnigan. Get a look inside the "greatest year in cinema ever" in the totally tubular limited series Greatest Geek Year Ever: 1982 premiering on Saturday, July 8 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT). On Tuesday, July 18, (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) travel the world with The CW premiere the series Down to Earth with Zac Efron starring Emmy® award winner Zac Efron. Experience extraordinary exploits across the globe with James and Oliver Phelps in Fantastic Friends (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).

Trailer for Peacock's Bupkis; Guest Stars Galore for The Muppets Mayhem on Disney+

Peacock has released the official trailer for upcoming original comedy series, Bupkis. The series is written, executive produced by and stars Pete Davidson and executive produced by Lorne Michaels. All eight episodes will premiere Thursday, May 4 on Peacock. Pete Davidson (SNL, The King of Staten Island) wrote, executive produced and stars in the show. The series also stars Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos) as Davidson's mom and Joe Pesci (Goodfellas, The Irishman) as Davidson's grandfather.

Disney+ revealed the official trailer for the new Original series The Muppets Mayhem, starring Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry and The Electric Mayhem Band. The musical comedy series premieres with all episodes on May 10, only on Disney+. The Muppets Mayhem follows The Electric Mayhem Band — Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet — on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora Singh (Singh), the old-school Muppet band comes face-to-face with the current-day music scene as they try to finally record their first studio album.

A-List Stars Join Norman Lear 100th Birthday ABC Special; Joe Pesci Joins Pete Davidson in Peacock Comedy

Jennifer Aniston, Jimmy Kimmel, Amy Poehler and Octavia Spencer are set to appear and celebrate the iconic television pioneer Norman Lear in the upcoming special, Norman Lear: 100 Years of Music and Laughter, airing Thursday, Sept. 22 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC and available the next day on Hulu. Honoring the life and legacy of the remarkable storyteller, activist and philanthropist Norman Lear, the one-night-only celebration features intimate conversations, special performances and surprise reunions that pay homage to the man behind some of television’s greatest stories in celebration of his 100th birthday.

Norman Lear is a television and film writer/producer whose dynamic career in Hollywood has encompassed both the Golden Age and Streaming Era. He served as executive producer to the critically acclaimed reimagining of One Day at a Time, which ran for four seasons and was the first Netflix series to be renewed for network television (PopTV and CBS). Lear executive produces and co-hosts Live in Front of a Studio Audience..., alongside Jimmy Kimmel. The series set record ratings for ABC and won the Emmy® for Outstanding Variety Special for two consecutive years.

Peacock announced that Academy Award-winner Joe Pesci (Goodfellas, The Irishman) will star in the new Pete Davidson comedy series Bupkis as Davidson's grandfather, which is written, starring and executive produced by Davidson. Pesci will star alongside previously announced Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco, who will play Davidson's mom. This is Pesci's first television series. Bupkis, a half-hour live action comedy, is a heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson's real life. The series will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known. Lorne Michaels will executive produce for Broadway Video, Judah Miller (Showrunner) and Dave Sirus are writing and executive producing alongside executive producers Andrew Singer and Erin David. Jason Orley will direct and co-executive produce. Series comes from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Broadway Video.
