Dancing with the Stars hit another season high with its annual "Halloween Night," scoring 6.74 million Total Viewers and rising for the sixth straight week since season premiere (+2% vs. 6.63 million on 10/21), despite airing against Game 4 of the World Series on Fox. Making history once again, Dancing with the Stars is the only fall show to increase its overall audience for six consecutive weeks following its season premiere - since September 1991, the start of Nielsen electronic measurement.
In Adults 18-49, Dancing with the Stars scored a 1.36 rating, earning its second-highest performance of the season (basically tied vs. 1.38 rating on 10/21). On a competitive night with the World Series, Dancing with the Stars stood as the No. 1 non-sports program of the night on broadcast and cable among both Total Viewers (6.74 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.36 rating). The show also towered over last year's "Halloween Night" by double digits in Total Viewers (+41% - 6.74 million vs. 4.77 million) while nearly doubling in Adults 18-49 (+97% - 1.36 rating vs. 0.69 rating). In fact, Dancing with the Stars delivered its strongest "Halloween Night" episode among Total Viewers in seven years and its top Adults 18-49 performance in eight years - since 10/29/18 and 10/30/17, respectively.
Fan voting on the night rose to a new high of 55.26 million (+4% vs. 53.10 million on 10/21). Dancing with the Stars was the No. 1 most social television program across broadcast and cable, scoring 3.3 million total social interactions, up +1% over last week's episode (vs. 3.2 million) and up +12% over the show's season-to-date average (vs. 2.9 million). Dancing with the Stars returns Tuesday, Nov. 4, for "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night" (airing at 8 p.m. EST/PST on ABC and Disney+, streaming next day on Hulu). Get ready to rock! The remaining couples dance to classic hits celebrating the legends of Rock. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Flavor Flav joins the judges panel for a night packed with pure rock energy - yeah, boyee!
