Making history once again, Dancing with the Stars is the only fall show to increase its overall audience for six consecutive weeks following its season premiere - since September 1991, the start of Nielsen electronic measurement.
In Adults 18-49, Dancing with the Stars scored a 1.36 rating, earning its second-highest performance of the season (basically tied vs. 1.38 rating on 10/21). On a competitive night with the World Series, Dancing with the Stars stood as the No. 1 non-sports program of the night on broadcast and cable among both Total Viewers (6.74 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.36 rating). The show also towered over last year's "Halloween Night" by double digits in Total Viewers (+41% - 6.74 million vs. 4.77 million) while nearly doubling in Adults 18-49 (+97% - 1.36 rating vs. 0.69 rating). In fact, Dancing with the Stars delivered its strongest "Halloween Night" episode among Total Viewers in seven years and its top Adults 18-49 performance in eight years - since 10/29/18 and 10/30/17, respectively.
Fan voting on the night rose to a new high of 55.26 million (+4% vs. 53.10 million on 10/21). Dancing with the Stars was the No. 1 most social television program across broadcast and cable, scoring 3.3 million total social interactions, up +1% over last week's episode (vs. 3.2 million) and up +12% over the show's season-to-date average (vs. 2.9 million). Dancing with the Stars returns Tuesday, Nov. 4, for "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night" (airing at 8 p.m. EST/PST on ABC and Disney+, streaming next day on Hulu). Get ready to rock! The remaining couples dance to classic hits celebrating the legends of Rock.
