HBO Max Slates The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion Special; Ayo Edebiri Replaces Jenny Slate as Missy on Big Mouth

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Now this is a story all about how... the cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunites for a one-time special! Coming around Thanksgiving only on HBO Max! September 10 will mark the 30th anniversary of the sitcom's debut on NBC and that date this year is when they will tape this reunion special! Reuniting will be Will Smith (Will), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Aunt Viv), DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jazz) and Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton). HBO Max is touting plus special guests, so we will some other guests and recurring stars it seems. Please note, this will be a reunion retrospective special and not an actual episode. HBO Max is also working on reunion retrospectives for Friends and The West Wing. Stay tuned for more info!


Ado Edebiri - Missy on Big Mouth

Ayo Edebiri has been cast as Missy on Netflix's Emmy Nominated animated series Big Mouth, replacing Jenny Slate who has voiced the character since season one. Fans should expect to first hear Ayo voice Missy in the penultimate episode of season four. She will continue to voice Missy in the final episode and for future seasons. Ayo joined the Big Mouth writer's room for season five. Season four of Big Mouth will premiere in Fall 2020. The series was previously renewed by Netflix through season six.
