SitcomsOnline Digest: Peacock to Launch All 45 Seasons of Saturday Night Live; Renewal for Family Guy and Bob's Burgers
Welcome to SitcomsOnline Digest! We would be right in the middle of fall season launches right about now, but that's not quite what this year had in store for us (although Fox does debut new seasons of all of their animated comedies tomorrow night). This week, we've got some Saturday Night Live news (about new and old episodes), news about animated comedies, and more. Let's get going!
- All seasons of Saturday Night Live are coming to Peacock on Thursday, although we assume it will be the shortened versions of the episodes. (Variety)
- Speaking of Saturday Night Live, Chris Rock will host the season premiere, which airs next Saturday night. (CNN)
- New voices will be replacing old ones on The Simpsons and Family Guy when they return tomorrow, as white voices will no longer be voicing non-white characters. (UPROXX)
- Meanwhile, Family Guy and Bob's Burgers have both been renewed for two more seasons. (TVLine)
- Schitt's Creek is debuting in broadcast syndication on Monday, which could either be the opportunity for it to become much bigger than it ever was in the afterlife, or it could completely fall flat. (Deadline)
- Get ready to say goodbye to Paramount Network (just like you did when you said goodbye to TNN, The National Network, and Spike TV), as it will relaunch sometime in the next year as Paramount Movie Network. (Deadline)
- Antenna TV will be debuting new series (including Who's the Boss?) and a new lineup soon. (SitcomsOnline)
WEEKLY PLANNER (SEPTEMBER 26 - OCTOBER 2)

- The fourth season of Fargo arrives on FX tomorrow night.
