Fox Picks Up Sitcom The Cool Kids for Full Season; CBS and ABC Back Nine Pickups

The Cool Kids

Fox has picked up nine additional episodes of new comedy The Cool Kids, which joins Friday partner Last Man Standing with a full season order. From executive producer Charlie Day (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and starring David Alan Grier, Martin Mull, Vicki Lawrence and Leslie Jordan, The Cool Kids is a multi-camera comedy about a rowdy, rag-tag group of friends living in a retirement community who are willing to break every rule in order to have fun - because, at their age, what do they really have to lose? The sitcom stars David Alan Grier, Martin Mull, Vicki Lawrence and Leslie Jordan.

ABC's sophomore drama Station 19 has been given a full-season order. In the Live + 3 Day ratings, Station 19 built on its season premiere by 24% in Total Viewers and by 25% in Adults 18-49 to set new series highs. On average through its first two episodes, the ABC sophomore drama is drawing an audience of 7.9 million viewers and is delivering a 1.8/7 in Adults 18-49. Station 19 stars Jaina Lee Ortiz as Andy Herrera, Jason George as Ben Warren, Boris Kodjoe as Captain Robert Sullivan, Grey Damon as Jack Gibson, Barrett Doss as Victoria Hughes, Alberto Frezza as Ryan Tanner, Jay Hayden as Travis Montgomery, Okieriete Onaodowan as Dean Miller, Danielle Savre as Maya Bishop and Miguel Sandoval as Pruitt Herrera. The Grey's spin-off airs Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. ET on The ABC Television Network.

The Neighborhood

And finally, CBS has given full-season orders to the new dramas God Friended Me and Magnum P.I. and the freshman comedy The Neighborhood for the 2018-2019 broadcast season.
