2015 Thanksgiving TV Marathons on TV This Holiday Weekend

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! We thank you for visiting us on this special day and every other day, all-year. We also are very thankful that you all will continue to visit every single day and making this blog a continued huge success. We get thousands of visitors every day (even on weekends). So, we thank you for the growth each year! It is simply amazing and I can't believe it has been over 10 years now of posting on this blog every single day no matter what! No days off!
Before we let you all go back to your families (or special friends), we want to let you know the marathons on TV you and your family might want to watch during the day and after Thanksgiving dinner. We love TV marathons and you all come here on each holiday to see what marathons are airing, so as always we will do that today, too, of course!

We have told you about some of the sitcom related marathons already in our regular news stories. Our pick of the weekend is the Leave it to Beaver 27-hour marathon today (Thanksgiving Day) that started at 12am ET on Antenna TV! Last night on Thanksgiving Eve they aired classic sitcom Thanksgiving episodes including WKRP in Cincinnati's "Turkey's Away" and other sitcoms like Evening Shade and Too Close for Comfort. TV Land has a Laugh More-a-thon Weekend with The Facts of Life airing today on Thanksgiving Day from 9am-9pm. Other TV Land marathons include The Golden Girls on Friday from 9am-6pm and Younger from 11pm-5am on Friday night. TBS will once again present a Friends marathon today, Thanksgiving Day, from 10am-4pm with all of the series' Thanksgiving episodes. WE tv will have all the Thanksgiving episodes of Roseanne airing from 10am-1:30pm today in a marathon block. And New York City is lucky to have a marathon of The Honeymooners for the fourth straight year on Thanksgiving, today on WPIX from 11am-3pm, sandwiched in between two airings of the movie March of the Wooden Soldiers! So yeah we told you about most of these already either recently or many moons ago. Now let's get to some we haven't had a chance to mention!

We didn't get a chance to mention about FXX presenting a marathon of The Simpsons from 4pm-10pm. USA Network will present a Modern Family marathon from 4pm-1am, following a Chrisely Knows Best marathon from 6am-4pm. CMT will stick with the family sitcom, with a Reba marathon from 10am-2pm and then a Last Man Standing marathon from 2pm-8pm. That '70s Show gets a marathon on IFC from 6am-10pm. BET will have a marathon of its newest addition House of Payne today from 2am to 7pm. On Friday there will be a marathon of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 3am-7pm. Sister network will have marathons of The Wayans Bros. and My Wife & Kids from 6am to 6pm today. Oxygen will showcase a marathon of Sex and the City from 12pm-8pm today. Ovation will have a Dharma & Greg marathon from 9am-1pm today. We also have many many Thanksgiving themed episodes airing that are not in marathons like Full House on Nick at Nite, Everybody Hates Chris on MTV2, and Bewitched on Logo.

Non-sitcom wise, INSP has a Waltons Thanksgiving movie marathon from 1pm-9pm today and a Bonanza Black Friday Marathon from 1pm-9pm. WGN America has a marathon of America's Funniest Home Videos from 12pm-12am today. Pivot will showcase a marathon for Friday Night Lights from 4pm-10pm. Other notables for Thanksgiving Thursday include an Star Trek: The Next Generation marathon on BBC America today from 6am-6am, a Pawn Stars marathon on History from 4pm-11pm, a Godfather movie marathon on AMC from 9am-6am, a James Bond movie marathon on Syfy from 6am-8pm, Bravo has a Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce marathon from 6am-2pm, a The Mummy movie franchise marathon on Spike starting at 11am, a The First 48 Thanksgiving marathon on A&E starting at 7am and a Keeping Up With The Kardashians marathon on E! starting at 8am. We also have many many movies marathons on networks like TNT, ABC Family, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movie Channel, Lifetime, Universal HD, and more.

On the networks tonight, there is an original special tonight: An All-Star Dog Spectacular on Fox. CBS will have new episodes of its sitcoms from 8:30pm-10pm tonight. View our ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas schedule, because that is the place to be as always during the holiday season beginning December 1! Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!
