Centric Adds More Sitcom and Drama Airings, Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of August 16, 2010)

Last week we told you about Centric doing a 24-hour marathon for The Jamie Foxx Show on Saturday, Aug. 7, and they have quietly added it to their regular schedule this past week. The sitcom airs weekdays in the 2pm and 6pm hours. We also announced last week that Smart Guy will get a marathon this weekend (Aug. 14-15), that is still happening, but only on Saturday now and the hours are expanded to 12pm-12am! On Sunday, Centric will air a marathon of The Jamie Foxx Show from 12pm-12am.
Also, starting Monday (Aug. 16), Centric will make some additional changes to the weekday line-up. Miami Vice and The A-Team's morning airings will move from 6-8am to 11am-1pm, switching spots with Soul Sessions and Soul Train. In the 1pm hour, The Steve Harvey Show will remain in the 1pm hour, leading into an hour of The Jamie Foxx Show at 2pm. At 3pm, the Centric Flick will continue to air, but now in the 5pm hour another hour of The Steve Harvey Show is added, replacing an airing of Soul Train. And the 6pm hour will remain The Jamie Foxx Show. Everything else remains the same, such as The A-Team at 9pm, 12am & 4am, American Gangster at 10pm, Miami Vice at 11pm, Soul Train at 1am, and the Centric Flick at 2am. The weekend of Aug. 21-22 will see marathons of Soul Train (Sat from 10am-10pm) and Fame (Sun from 9am-8pm).
And stay with us very soon for Centric's Fall 2010 schedule. Hopefully they add another sitcom or two? We shall see. We'll also have sister network BET's Fall 2010 schedule soon. Stay tuned and don't touch that dial!

It's Friday, so it is time for "Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows" for the coming week. This is where we list what sitcom stars are appearing on talk shows for the coming week, the stars are both current and past sitcom stars (but we won't cover movie stars like Tom Hanks or John Travolta, since they won't be talking about their past sitcoms likely), so this is for all sitcom fans of all eras!
For the week of August 16-20, 2010, we have many current sitcom stars and past sitcom stars on TV talk shows! So get your DVR's (or whatever you use) ready! Ready? Here is all what you need to know for the coming week!
