You can discuss your thoughts about the art and extras, here. Also, I have a sneak peek at the release date for the 8th and final season which will be coming to DVD on October 10! Hopefully Anchor Bay releases the two spin-offs, The Ropers & Three's a Crowd, too. I will be on top of that if that happens. TV Land July will introduce the launch of '80s sitcom 227. The sitcom is getting a soft launch, with no marathon and just an afternoon slot of 12:30 p.m. weekdays. This summer TV Land will introduce Friday Night Movies for July & August. They will showcase big blockbuster movies from the '70s and '80s, along with a reairing of the behind the scenes TV-movie of Three's Company from 2003. Also, TV Land will air new episode of My First Time on Wednesdays all month long. And finally to celebrate TV Land's newest Top 10 episode, they will air a 48-hour marathon of The Brady Bunch in anticipation of the Top 10 Brady Moments. TV Land weekends are also back to the regular schedule. You can find all that and more HERE.
The Weezy and The Swish show has Paul Goebel as its guest. Paul is of course a good friend of ours and is the King of Television appearing on many movies and TV shows such as Comedy Central's Beat the Geeks. He has lots of knowledge about television and was TV Land's Ultimate Fan for its second (and final) search. He is on episode 49 of the show: Podcast 49 features Paul The King of TV who brings his wealth of television trivia knowledge to Weezy and The Swish. Can anyone in the studio or the chat room stump The King of TV with a trivia question? It's not very likely since Paul has developed a theory that everyone on television can be connected to Henry Winkler with under six degrees of separation. Laura challenges Paul to connect Henry to Desi Arnaz and Paul does it in under four degrees. He's that good. In other surprising connections, Paul's upcoming stage show will feature guest Robbie Rist who starred in Kid Video which also starred a friend of Weezy's who we called and who just happened to be home. Prepare to be delighted with this and other nuggets of joy as you listen to Episode 49 of Weezy and The Swish. You can listen to it here.
