VEI (Visual Entertainment Inc.) in Canada is releasing a 2 DVD set of Stockard Channing in Just Friends and The Stockard Channing Show. These short-lived shows aired on CBS in 1979 and 1980. For more details on the set and series, click here. You can purchase this set by clicking here, as it is not slated to come to the U.S. anytime soon probably.
This will probably be a release that is sold in stores only in Canada or at online retailers like amazon.ca. They list it for only $13.97 CDN. VEI is also releasing Gimme A Break - Season 1 and Kate & Allie - Seasons 1 & 2. The latter is a much better set than what the U.S. is offering. VEI previously released Hardcastle and McCormick - Seasons 1 & 2, The Best of Bizarre (Volumes 1-4), and The Best Moments of The Amazing Kreskin. We will have full detailed DVD reviews of the sitcoms (Kate & Allie, Gimme a Break, Stockard Channing in Just Friends and The Stockard Channing Show) coming soon!
