You are invited to be a TV industry insider! Square Off is a weekly television series on the TV Guide Channel dedicated to discussing (and sometimes arguing) over the world of television and what we watch and why. The episode that airs this Friday (May 26) at 8:00 p.m. features Henry Winkler talking about ‘jumping the shark’ on Happy Days, working with Ron Howard and his character’s sexuality on Arrested Development.
Square Off aims to immerse viewers in the business of television with lively debate hosted by Brian Lowry (Media Columnist, Daily Variety) and Andrew Wallenstein (TV Features Editor, The Hollywood Reporter). Created by Peter Bart (Editor-in-Chief of Variety), Peter Guber (Chairman/CEO of Mandalay Entertainment Group) and producer Scott Sternberg (Emmy®-Award winner and President of Scott Sternberg Productions), the series features the entertainment industry’s top power players in front of and behind the camera, including actors, agents, managers, network executives, producers, directors, television critics and reporters.
As of Saturday, June 10 Square Off will be moving to 9:00 PM on Saturdays and will be running repeats every Friday thereafter at 11:00 PM. Actor John Cryer will be featured on June 10.
