Fox Renews Jay Pharoah Game Show; Leighton Meester to Guest Star on Nobody Wants This

The Fox Television Network has renewed The Quiz with Balls, the network's hit game show that took last summer's top spot for new series among the coveted Adults 18-49 demographic, for a second season. Hosted by actor and comedian Jay Pharoah (SNL, The Blackening), the popular game show pits brains against balls, combining a high stakes quiz show and a large-scale physical competition with each episode featuring two families competing for $100,000 in an epic "battle of the balls."

Leighton Meester

Everybody Wants This! Leighton Meester will guest star in Nobody Wants This Season 2 playing Kristen Bell's middle school nemesis who Joanne crosses paths with as an adult. In the comedy series, an agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. When they walk out - together - the unlikely pair, Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody), can tell there is something between them. But also potentially between them, with their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families - including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) and his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons).
