31st Annual SAG Awards Pre-Show Hosts; Hulu's Ellen Pompeo Series Trailer Released
The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® revealed award-winning entertainer, New York Times best-selling author, and gender equality advocate Lilly Singh and actress, comedian, and equal rights activist Sasheer Zamata will host the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® Official Pre-Show, which will stream live globally on Netflix Sunday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. Additionally, the SAG Awards announced the stunt performers and coordinators who have been nominated this year for Stunt Ensemble performances in motion pictures and television series. This year's pre-show will feature Singh and Zamata interviewing nominees, highlighting the best fashion of the night, and giving viewers a look at the star-studded red carpet for the SAG Awards. During the pre-show, winners for Stunt Ensemble performances in motion pictures and television series will also be revealed.
Hulu has debuted the trailer and key art for its Original limited series Good American Family starring Ellen Pompeo, Mark Duplass and Imogen Faith Reid. Told from multiple points of view, as a means to explore issues of perspective, bias, and trauma, this compelling drama is inspired by the disturbing stories surrounding a Midwestern couple who adopts a girl with a rare form of dwarfism. But as they begin to raise her alongside their three biological children, mystery emerges around her age and background, and they slowly start to suspect she may not be who she says she is. As they defend their family from the daughter they’ve grown to believe is a threat, she fights her own battle to confront her past and what her future holds, in a showdown that ultimately plays out in the tabloids and the courtroom.
The series stars Ellen Pompeo, Mark Duplass and Imogen Faith Reid. Dulé Hill, Christina Hendricks, Sarayu Blue and Jenny O’Hara are recurring guest stars.
