Leah Remini GSN Game Show Receives 2nd Season; Helen Mirren to Narrate ABC's When Nature Calls

Game Show Network, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, has announced the season two pick-up of one of its most popular originals, People Puzzler, hosted by two-time Emmy(R) Award winner Leah Remini and based on the iconic crossword puzzles in PEOPLE, the No. 1 magazine brand in the country. The new season of the half-hour original series is anticipated to premiere in fall 2021. In People Puzzler, three lucky contestants will put their pop culture knowledge to the test to complete iconic, People Puzzler crosswords. The player who has won the most points after three rounds will move on to the Fast Puzzle Bonus Round where they will have the opportunity to win a cash prize. People Puzzler is produced by Meredith Corporation and Start Entertainment, LLC for Game Show Network. Executive Producers are Scott St. John and Neal Konstantini for Start Entertainment, LLC, along with Dan Wakeford and Rachel Feinberg for Meredith Corporation. Rane Laymance also serves as executive producer.
Helen Mirren has been tapped to narrate When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren (formerly When Nature Calls wt), a laugh-out-loud, one-hour unscripted comedy series that looks at the lighter side of the natural world. Much like the overall tone of the show, this role is designed for Helen to lean into her comedic talents while taking the audience on a visually enchanting and ridiculously hilarious tour of the animal kingdom. When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren has a new premiere date, Thursday, June 24 from 8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT (instead of June 17), on ABC. Episodes will also air the next day on demand and on Hulu. Based on a BBC Studios comedy format, the series features comedians putting words into the mouths of beautiful beasts, teeny-tiny frogs, beatboxing badgers and more in captivating footage from all over the world.
ABC's wackiest extreme mini-golf competition series, Holey Moley 3D in 2D, will now swing into its season three premiere with an epic two-hour evening airing Thursday, June 17 from 8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT, on ABC, and return to its regular 9:00-10:00 p.m. timeslot the following week.
