All-Star Cast Set for Paramount+ Animated Comedy Series; Home Makeovers with Marsai Martin

Paramount+ released the first-look teaser art and trailer for the upcoming adult animated comedy The Harper House. Created by Brad Neely and featuring an all-star voiceover cast – including Rhea Seehorn, Jason Lee, Tatiana Maslany and Ryan Flynn as the Harper family – the ten-episode Paramount+ Original Series will premiere this fall exclusively on the service. The Harper House follows an overconfident female head of a household as she struggles to regain a higher status for herself and for her family of oddballs after losing her job and moving from the rich side to the poor side of a small town in Arkansas. To save money, they’ve moved into their inherited Victorian fixer-upper, the historic Harper House. VyVy Nguyen, Lance Krall, Roberta Colindrez, Tessa Skara, John "Spud" McConnell, Chris Diamantopoulos, Joanna Hausmann, Gabourey Sidibe, Nyima Funk and Gary Anthony Williams also voice characters in the series.
Neely also serves as executive producer alongside Katie Krentz. The Harper House is produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios’ new animation arm, in association with 219 Productions. Titmouse (Big Mouth), the Emmy Award-winning independent animation production company, serves as the animation studio for the series. The Harper House joins the growing list of original animated series Paramount+ has to offer, including Star Trek: Lower Decks, Rugrats, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, Stephen Colbert Presents Tooning Out the News, No Activity and the highly anticipated Star Trek: Prodigy premiering later this year.
With help from actress Marsai Martin, who has a burgeoning personal passion for interior design, extraordinary teens will get personalized bedroom makeovers in a newly greenlighted discovery+ series. Martin, best known from the ABC sitcom black-ish, will serve as executive producer of the eight-episode series and will lead the design team that creates stunning bedroom overhauls for exceptional, peer-nominated youth who make a positive impact in their communities. The series will be available to stream on discovery+ in 2022. After surprising him or her with the good news, Martin will work with her expert team, including carpenter Joanie Sprague and designer Tiffany Thompson, to create a breathtaking oasis reflective of each teen’s interests, individuality, personality and style.
