MeTV Spring 2021 with The Addams Family and The Pink Panther; Fox Orders More Duncanville, While ABC Goes Into the Wild with Comedy

The MeTV Network is adding two classics this May, 2021. The Addams Family will air weeknights at 6:00pm starting Monday, May 3, replacing The Flintstones weekday airing. Not to worry, The Flintstones still airs Sunday mornings from 10am-11:30am, followed by The Jetsons at 11:30am. The other addition to the lineup is the animated classic The Pink Panther Show airing Saturdays at 7:30am during the Saturday morning animation lineup following Popeye stating Saturday, May 15. MeTV is calling it "Pink Panther's Party," while they call Popeye, "Popeye and Pals." Back to The Addams Family, it also was previously seen on ThisTV then later on Antenna TV. No other schedule changes are being made in May. View the full MeTV Spring lineup.

In advance of its second season premiere, Fox has renewed the animated hit comedy Duncanville, for a third season. From Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Amy Poehler and Emmy Award winners Mike and Julie Scully, Duncanville follows a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy, his family and friends. Meanwhile, second season animated comedy Bless the Harts has been canceled. The Season Two premiere of Duncanville returns with a special two-episode debut on Sunday, May 23 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT and 9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT), after which the series moves into its Monday time period, following the debut of the all-new animated comedy Housebroken, on May 31 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT).
In the series, Duncan (Poehler) can see adulthood on the horizon: money, freedom, cars, girls... but the reality is more like: always being broke, driving with your mom sitting shotgun and babysitting your little sister. He's not exceptional, but he has a wild imagination in which he's never anything less than amazing. Poehler also voices Duncan's mother, Annie, and Emmy Award winner Ty Burrell voices Duncan's father, Jack. The series also features the voices of Emmy Award nominee Riki Lindhome as Duncan's 12-year-old sister Kimberly; Emmy Award nominee and Grammy Award winner Rashida Jones as Mia, Duncan's on-again, off-again crush; Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee Wiz Khalifa as Mr. Mitch, the universally loved teacher/guidance counselor, occasional gym coach and school nurse; Joy Osmanski who voices Jing, Duncan's six-year-old sister; and Betsy Sodaro, Yassir Lester and Zach Cherry as his friends Bex, Yangzi and Wolf, respectively.

ABC has Announced the pickup of new unscripted comedy series When Nature Calls (wt) based on BBC Studios comedy format. When Nature Calls (wt) is a laugh-out-loud, one-hour unscripted comedy series which looks at the lighter side of the natural world. Based on a BBC Studios comedy format, the show will surprise and delight viewers with what comes out of the mouths of majestic beasts, teeny-tiny frogs, beatboxing badgers and more within captivating, beautiful footage from all over the world. This new perspective on absurd animal antics is easy on the eyes and hilarious to the ears. When Nature Calls (wt) is produced for ABC by BBC Studios' Los Angeles production arm. Ryan O'Dowd is the executive producer for BBC Studios; K.P. Anderson is also executive producing. Premiere date and additional information about the series to be announced at a later date.
