TBS Celebrates Seinfeld's 30th Anniversary; Netflix Renews Russian Doll for Season 2

Seinfeld 30th Anniversary

Celebrate "Bestivus" with TBS! On Friday, July 5, TBS is honoring 30 Years of Seinfeld with 30 classic episodes from 6am-9pm in a 30th Anniversary Marathon. Seinfeld premiered on July 5, 1989 on NBC as The Seinfeld Chronicles. The show stars Jerry Seinfeld as himself, Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine Benes, and Michael Richards as Kramer. The TBS marathon linear schedule is below.

6:00 AM - "The Chinese Restaurant"
Jerry, Elaine and George need reservations at a Chinese restaurant.

6:30 AM - "The Pen"
Jerry accepts a gift his parents wanted him to refuse.

7:00 AM - "The Parking Garage"
Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer lose their car in a mall parking garage.

7:30 AM - "The Red Dot"
Elaine's alcoholic boyfriend resumes drinking; Jerry is the unwitting cause.

The friends encounter adventure on the subway.

Network executives ask Jerry to create a show. Jerry tries to evade a vengeful writer. George woos an executive.

Jerry gets lost en route to visiting a sickly fan.

Jerry, George, Kramer and Elaine vie at self-denial.

Visitors Kramer and Jerry think they killed a surgery patient.

Elaine considers intimacy with her new boyfriend.

George's and Susan's parents have dinner together for the first time.

George searches for a way to stop his impending nuptials.

Russian Doll

Sweet Birthday, Babyyy! Russian Doll is coming back for Season 2 streaming only on Netflix. Let's get loopy. Russian Doll follows a young woman named Nadia (Natasha Lyonne) on her journey as the guest of honor at a seemingly inescapable party one night in New York City. Russian Doll is co-created by Natasha Lyonne, Amy Poehler and Leslye Headland, who all serve as executive producers, with Headland and Lyonne as writers for the series. Additional cast include Greta Lee (KTown), Yul Vazquez (Captain Phillips), Tony Award-winner Elizabeth Ashley (Ocean's 8) and Charlie Barnett (Chicago Fire). Golden Globe(R) winner and Academy Award(R) nominee Chloë Sevigny (Lizzie), SAG Award winner Dascha Polanco (Orange is the New Black), Brendan Sexton III (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Rebecca Henderson (Appropriate Behavior), Jeremy Bobb (The Knick), Ritesh Rajan (Stitchers) and Jocelyn Bioh (School Girls) also guest star.
