  • Vanessa Bayer is set to co-create and star in a new Showtime comedy about a woman who overcomes leukemia to live out her childhood dream of being an on-air host at a home shopping network. (Deadline)
  • Orange is the New Black may not be totally dead after all, as a sequel to the Netflix series is now under discussion. (TVLine)
  • Perhaps much to the pleasure of Donald Trump, The Alec Baldwin Show hasn't been too successful, and now ABC will be moving it to Saturday nights. (CBS News)
  • Eddie Foy III is probably not a household name at all, but he served as casting director of numerous sitcoms including I Dream of Jeannie, Happy Days, Cheers, and more. He died this week at age 83. (Variety)
