2018 Thanksgiving TV Marathons on TV This Holiday Weekend
Before we let you all go back to your families (or special friends), we want to let you know the marathons on TV you and your family might want to watch during the day and after Thanksgiving dinner. We love TV marathons and you all come here on each holiday to see what marathons are airing, so as always we will do that today, too, of course!
We have told you about some of the sitcom related marathons already in our regular news stories. Our pick of the weekend is the Growing Pains Every Episode marathon that began yesterday at 5am ET and lasting through Sunday on Antenna TV! Enjoy every single episode! COZI TV has an "Unexpected Guests" Marathon with guest stars on their series! getTV has Thanksgiving Day "First Families of Comedy" marathon, featuring back-to-back episodes of Married with Children, All in the Family, Sanford and Son and Good Times. TV Land has a Laugh More-a-thon Marathon of The Andy Griffith Show airing today on Thanksgiving Day from 9am-3pm. TBS will once again present a Friends marathon today, Thanksgiving Day, from 1pm-6pm with all of the series' Thanksgiving episodes. Bob's Burgers and Family Guy mini-marathons will lead-in starting at 8:30am. And want more Friends? Paramount Network has a marathon from 7pm-12am, following a Mom marathon from 8am-7pm. IFC launches Pee-Wee's Playhouse with a marathon starting at 6am. Pop will have a marathon of Party of Five from 12-3pm into a marathon of Gilmore Girls from 3pm-8pm. And New York City is lucky to have a marathon of The Honeymooners for the seventh straight year on Thanksgiving, today on WPIX from 11am-3pm, sandwiched in between two airings of the movie March of the Wooden Soldiers at 9am and 3pm!
Logo has a Mama's Family marathon starting at 3am through 12am today! FXX is presenting a marathon of The Simpsons in primetime from 8pm-12am once again on Thanksgiving night. black-ish mini-marathon on Thanksgiving Day will air from 5pm-8pm leading-in. Comedy Central has a The Office marathon from 2pm-8pm. USA Network will present a Chrisely Knows Best marathon from 6am-8pm today. Fuse has a bunch of sitcoms airing today like Moesha and Sister Sister from 9am-8:30pm. IFC has a Three Stooges marathon from 6am-6pm. UP has the Gilmore Girls marathon starting at midnight. WGN America has a marathon of Last Man Standing from 7pm-1am. ION has a CSI marathon today beginning at 11am through 3am. Oxygen has a Chicago P.D. marathon from 9am-2am. Other notables for Thanksgiving Thursday include The Godfather trilogy marathon on AMC starting at 9am, and a Gone with the Wind marathon on Sundance starting at 6am. We also have many many movies marathons on networks like TNT, VH1, Freeform, E!, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movie Channel, Lifetime, Universal HD, and more.
