HIGHLIGHTS FROM SITCOMSONLINE.COM AND AROUND THE WEB

- For years, the mostly left-wing entertainment division of Fox and the mostly right-wing news division of Fox have been able to co-exist, but it seems that tensions have reached a boiling point this week and creative talents in the entertainment division (including Modern Family co-creator Steve Levitan and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane) are speaking out, with Levitan going so far as to announce that he will leave the studio following the conclusion of Modern Family. (Hollywood Reporter)
- It looks as if the CW reboot of Dynasty is going to have to go in a different direction than the original Dynasty went, as the actress who plays Cristal in the reboot will not be returning for the second season. (Deadline)
- It just barely made it to a second season, but a third won’t be happening, as NBC has decided time is up for Timeless. (CNN)
- 3rd Rock from the Sun will debut July 16 on Laff. (SitcomsOnline)
