Modern Family's Sarah Hyland Joins Shadowhunters as Guest; More Tosh.0 on Comedy Central

Sarah Hyland

In a world full of Shadowhunters, Demons, Vampires, Werewolves, Seelies and Warlocks, the Shadow World welcomes one more into the fold, as actress Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) joins the cast for a special guest appearance during the summer season. Hyland's character will be revealed at a later date. The summer premiere of Shadowhunters, aired last night (Monday, June 5) at 8:00pm EDT, on Freeform and on the Freeform app. In that summer premiere of Shadowhunters, Shadowhunters and Downworlders are picking up the pieces after Valentine's attack at the Institute. Downworlder numbers are down, and the different packs and clans debate on what they must do to survive. With Valentine in custody, the Institute is on high alert, but Jace carries the heaviest burden of all due to his part in igniting the Soul Sword and the secret he is keeping from Clary. But Jace and the Shadowhunters don't have much time to mourn, as a Greater Demon is loose in Manhattan. The series stars Katherine McNamara as Clary Fray, Dominic Sherwood as Jace Wayland, Alberto Rosende as Simon Lewis, Emeraude Toubia as Isabelle Lightwood, Matthew Daddario as Alec Lightwood, Isaiah Mustafa as Luke Garroway, and Harry Shum Jr. as Magnus Bane.

Tosh.0

Bear witness to the eccentric personalities of viral videos and epic internet shenanigans with host Daniel Tosh when new episodes of Tosh.0 debut tonight (Tuesday, June 6) at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT followed by the new series premiere of The Jim Jefferies Show at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The premiere episode will spotlight Ricky Berwick as the "CeWEBrity Profile" and features Daniel as a guest star on "The Amazingly Incredible Ricky Berwick TV Show." Currently in its ninth season, Tosh.0 premiered on June 4, 2009 and features razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh. The weekly, topical series delves into all aspects of the Internet and the social media landscape from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious. Each episode includes a "CeWEBrity Profile" or Tosh giving subjects of notorious viral videos a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they have become synonymous with their very own "Web Redemption."

New talk show The Jim Jefferies Show will take on culture and politics with an unapologetic, honest and international approach. Each week, Jefferies will tackle the week's top stories from behind his desk and travel the globe to far-off locations to provide an eye opening look at hypocrisy around the world. Featuring interviews, international field pieces, and man on the ground investigations, Jefferies will cover the most controversial issues, all through the lens of his distinctive brand of comedy.
