ABC Summer 2017 Schedule; E! Renews Drama for 2nd Season
The ABC Television Network has announced summer premiere dates for limited series Somewhere Between, drama series Still Star-Crossed, and documentary The Story of Diana. Summer Fun & Games Return with new alternative series The Gong Show, Boy Band, Steve Harvey's FUNDERDOME and Battle of the Network Stars. Summer game-show nights return with Celebrity Family Feud, The $100,000 Pyramid and To Tell the Truth, as well as returning favorite Bachelor in Paradise and music specials Billboard Music Awards, CMA Fest 2017 and ESPN's The 2017 ESPYS. These shows join previously announced The Bachelorette, premiering Monday, May 22, comedy series Downward Dog, airing Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. beginning May 23 and movie event Dirty Dancing, airing Wednesday, May 24. E! Entertainment has greenlit a second season of its latest original scripted series The Arrangement. From Universal Cable Productions and Emmy Award-Winning writer/EP Jonathan Abrahams (Mad Men), the series debuted Sunday, March 5 at 10pm ET/PT. Starring Josh Henderson (Dallas), Christine Evangelista (The Walking Dead), Lexa Doig (Continuum) and Michael Vartan (Alias), this multi-layered, sophisticated Hollywood love story brings to life the darker side of fame. Season two will consist of 10, one-hour episodes, just like the current first season. The Arrangement season one will conclude with the finale airing Sunday, May 7 at 10pm ET/PT. In last night's episode, secrets are revealed when Kyle (Henderson) accompanies Megan (Evangelista) on a trip back to her hometown to officiate her best friend's wedding. Terence (Vartan) goes on a journey of self-reflection after trying to save the Institute from a possible scandal that leads to an intense confrontation. As things get steamy with DeAnn (Doig), she finds herself inspired to take more risks with her life.
