Week 29 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did

2016-17 Week 29 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu): 

Households: #1. CBS 6.18/11 rating/share (+31% in rating from first four nights week 28); #2. NBC 3.84/7 (-2%); #3. ABC 3.59/6 (-2%); #4. Fox 2.12/4 (-7%); #5. The CW 0.66/1 (-31%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 10.170 million (+36% from first four nights week 28); #2. NBC 6.024 million (-3%); #3. ABC 5.538 million (-1%); #4. Fox 3.363 million (-6%); #5. The CW 1.042 million (-32%).
Adults 18-49: #1. CBS 2.14/8 rating/share (+71% in rating from first four nights week 28); #2. NBC  1.25/5 (-4%); #3. ABC 1.21/5 (-2%); #4. Fox 1.06/4 (+1%); #5. The CW 0.34/1 (-36%)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 28 (3/27/17-4/2/17, LIVE+SD). CBS won the week in A18-49 and did a 1.88 rating boosted by NCAA Final 4 coverage.  NBC was #2 with a 1.03 rating.  ABC was #3 with a 0.95 rating, while Fox was #4 with a 0.79 rating  Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 9.657 million, with NBC #2 at 5.308 million.  ABC was #3 with 4.416 million and Fox at #4 with 2.649 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-4/6/17, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 1.82 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.71 rating thanks to the Super Bowl and also heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series. Without those 2 events, Fox would be #4. CBS is  #3 with a 1.51 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.24 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 8.273 million, followed by the dropping NBC at #2 with 7.158 million. Super Bow/World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 5.500 million as ABC is #4 with 5.101 million.
