Week 32 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did

2016-17 Week 32 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu): 

Households: #1. NBC 3.92/7 rating/share (+5% in rating from first four nights week 31); #2. CBS 3.88/7 (-14%); #3. ABC 3.40/6 (+5%); #4. Fox 1.96/3 (+12%); #5. The CW 0.84/1 (+87%).
Total Viewers: #1. NBC 6.123 million (+4% from first four nights week 31); #2. CBS 6.043 million (-16%); #3. ABC 5.118 million (+3%); #4. Fox 3.051 million (+11%); #5. The CW 1.334 million (+92%).
Adults 18-49: #1. NBC 1.20/5 rating/share (+1% in rating from first four nights week 31); #2. ABC  1.13/4 (+10%); #3. CBS 1.02/4 (-11%); #4. Fox 0.94/4 (+22%); #5. The CW 0.46/2 (+130%)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 31 (4/17/17-4/23/17, LIVE+SD). NBC won the week in A18-49 and did a 1.03 rating.  CBS was #2 with a 0.91 rating.  ABC was #3 with a 0.86 rating, while Fox was #4 with a 0.66 rating. What a low week.  Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 6.676 million, with NBC #2 at 5.123 million.  ABC was #3 with 4.077 million and Fox at #4 with 2.231 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-4/27/17, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 1.74 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.61 rating thanks to the Super Bowl and also heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series. Without those 2 events, Fox would be #4. CBS is  #3 with a 1.46 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.21 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 8.122 million, followed by the dropping NBC at #2 with 6.948 million. Super Bowl/World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 5.209 million as ABC is #4 with 5.019 million. ABC could likely overtake Fox in total viewers by the end of season, in the next few weeks.
