HIGHLIGHTS FROM SITCOMSONLINE.COM AND AROUND THE WEB

- Joseph Mascolo, who was best known for his role of villain Stefano off and on over over a 34 year period on Days of Our Lives (as well as many appearances on classic TV series, particularly in the 1970s), died this week at age 87. (Variety)
- William H. Macy is the bigger name and officially considered the star of Showtime's Shameless, but many who watch the show know that the plots and stories are often much more dependent upon Emmy Rosum's character Fiona, and now she not only wants equal pay to Macy, but actually more than his. (Hollywood Reporter)
- "This is it, this is the trailer, the one you get, so go and have a ball," as Netflix has released the trailer for their reboot of the sitcom One Day at a Time. (SitcomsOnline)
