POP Acquires Baywatch; Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of July 11, 2016)

Baywatch - POP

As we first mentioned on Monday during our 4th of July marathons update, POP has acquired Baywatch and it is back with a bang! FremantleMedia International and POP, a network celebrating the fun of being a fan, have teamed up and are set to sizzle this summer with a new deal for the iconic long-running action drama Baywatch. The series, regarded as one of the most-watched shows in worldwide television history, chronicles the lives of a team of hot young lifeguards set against the beautiful sun soaked beaches of Malibu, California. POP, which is a joint venture of CBS and Lionsgate and seen in over 80 million homes, is airing the series weekdays from 1-4pm. It essentially is replacing The Love Boat, as Beverly Hills 90210 moves to 11am-1pm following The Brady Bunch from 9:30-11am. Baywatch also will still air on digital network COZI TV. So head back to the beach and join David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Nicole Eggert, David Charvet, Yasmine Bleeth, and the rest of your favorite lifeguards this summer on POP! Saving lives never looked so good. #StillAwesome
