Who to Follow: Dawnn Lewis (Twitter), "Award winning Songwriter, Singer, Actress, Producer, Philanthropist & Continually Blessed By God!"
Claim to Fame: With the announced release of Hangin' with Mr. Cooper on DVD, we are featuring one of the stars of that series for our Follow Me this week. Dawnn Lewis only appeared on the first season of the series, and was not part of the series as it was retooled for the second season. That was hardly her only sitcom credit, though. She also appeared in the first five seasons of A Different World. In recent years, she has continued to do roles in all genres of television and on stage, including Days of Our Lives, Doc McStuffins, The Boondocks, One Tree Hill, and more.
Pick of the Tweets: "I'm excited about the new season of Doc McStuffins featuring Granny McStuffins! I love doing her voice." (July 4, 2016)
