SitcomsOnline Digest: Tina Fey and Robert Carlock Comedy Gets CBS Commitment; Growing Pains and The Middle DVD Release Dates Set

- Tina Fey and Robert Carlock have managed to have a perfect record in bringing hilarious comedies to television (or Netflix) so far, and now they'll be joining Jack Burditt for yet another project on CBS. But this time, it will be a multi-camera. (Deadline)

- Meanwhile, a popular comedy from the US is getting a reboot (but only in Russia): Roseanne. (Deadline)

HOME MEDIA HIGHLIGHTS
- It looks as if Growing Pains - The Complete Sixth Season may be coming sooner than anticipated, with a release date of October 20 now showing.
- Another Warner Archive favorite, The Middle, is set to continue on DVD on October 27 with the release of The Middle - The Complete Fifth Season.
- Family Guy - Season Thirteen has been confirmed by Fox for a December 8 release.
OCTOBER 6 HOME MEDIA RELEASES
- Bewitched - The Complete Series (DVD, $55.99): It's not the first time that it has arrived on DVD, but the complete series of the classic series returns to DVD again with this release.
- Grace Under Fire - The Complete Collection (DVD, $199.99): The Brett Butler series was scheduled to be released on DVD almost a decade ago by another studio and was scrapped, never to be heard from again... until now.
- I Dream of Jeannie - The Complete Series (DVD, $44.98): This set is another complete series re-release from Mill Creek.
- South Park - The Complete Eighteenth Season (DVD, $29.99; Blu-ray, $39.99): The foul-mouthed fourth-graders (they're still there?) return to DVD in this release.
