In total viewers, CBS is still on top with 10.79 million, then NBC is second with 9.52, Fox is at 7.55 and ABC is at 7.54 as they are creeping in to catch Super Bowl-fueled Fox and should pass them by next week.
Back to week 32, read our full night-by-night analysis followed by how the sitcoms did! GREAT showings are in BOLD. If they are in bold in both total viewers and 18-49, then it is very impressive:

On the next...The Simpsons (Fox, Sun 8:00pm):
By: Skees
Few would have imagined when The Simpsons began all the way back in 1989 that it would still be on the air in 2014, 550 episodes later... but now, the series has approached that milestone. Like many milestones for the series, the producers have decided to do something special for this milestone, and this time, they've decided to put the series in LEGO form, in "Brick Like Me," airing Sunday at 8 PM ET/PT on Fox.
The episode starts off a little bit different from usual. Everything begins in Homer and Marge's bedroom with the lights off... but when the lights come on, things look a whole lot different, at least to the fans: Homer and Marge are now block lifeforms. At the breakfast table, Bart points out that something looks different, but it isn't that they are blocks, but rather that Homer is wearing a tie. As the episode progresses, Homer buys Lisa a Pretty Patty's Princess Shop play set from the comic book store. But upon buying this, things start to get a little weird. At first, he has these strange flashbacks to an alternate universe where he helps Lisa put the play set together, but everything looks different. It gets even worse when he looks in the mirror and starts seeing a meaty and fleshy version of himself, as opposed to a hard plastic version. As things continue to get even stranger, Homer is out to find out answers about who he is and where he is, and how he got there.
I really did enjoy the creative premise for the episode. The Simpsons in LEGO form is a fun idea to work with, to be certain. And you have to give a lot of credit to the work done for the animation in this episode, as it is nothing at all like we're used to with the series. Unfortunately, though, I felt that everything in the episode was just a bit too contrived. It felt like the whole idea of a LEGO episode was the main idea behind it, and that there was little effort into putting a story behind it all. In fact, in watching the episode, it was sometimes hard to even remember what the main plot was supposed to be. I felt like the episode probably would have been better as one of the segments on a Treehouse of Horror episode, since there probably was enough of a story to last for 6 or 7 minutes, but as a 22 minute episodes, it falls flat rather quickly. It's a shame that the 550th episode milestone couldn't have been something more impressive. Still, there is no denying that it is fun to watch the series in this alternate style, but a good episode needs a story as well. C+
