NBC Delays 'Vegas' Season Premiere By 1 Week; ABC Picks Up New Mid-Season Drama

NBC has announced that it will bump the season premiere of Las Vegas this Friday to next Friday (October 27) instead. They are opting to go with the same duo that did well for them last Friday (October 13). They will air a special Deal or No Deal episode at 8 and an all-new episode of the new game show 1 vs. 100 at 9 p.m. 1 vs. 100 was slated to air at 8 p.m. this week, but will move to that slot October 27 instead with the season premiere of drama Las Vegas following at 9.

ABC has announced it has picked-up an additional drama to its mid-season slate. The show is called October Road. It was a pilot that was not picked-up for this season but ABC told them to wait a bit because they liked what they saw and if it were needed, they would call on it. They have also done to another drama called Secrets of a Small Town, but that has not been officially picked-up yet, but is very likely to be soon. October Road centers on a young, acclaimed novelist at a crossroads in life when he returns to his hometown to teach at the local university and face the family and friends he left behind. The series will begin shooting this fall as a joint production between Touchstone Television and GroupM Entertainment. We will advise you of a premiere date and time shortly, as soon as ABC announces it.

Animal Control - "Golden Moose and Wiener Dogs" (Fox, 9:02PM ET/PT)
The team arrives at the Animal Control Officer of the Year awards and party ahead of the ceremony; it's Frank vs. Templeton for the big prize; Shred and Emily's secret romance is finally exposed.

Going Dutch - "NATOcean's Eleven" (Fox, 9:32PM ET/PT)
Gen. Martin launches a takeover of the base and plans to fire its entire staff; Maj. Shah grapples with a midlife crisis.
