ABC Postpones 'Knights of Prosperity' Premiere; CBS Swaps 'Class', 'Mother', Renews 'Christine'

ABC has just announced that the series premiere of the new sitcom The Knights of Prosperity has been postponed to a later date. A new date will be advised shortly. Dancing with the Stars will continue to air for 90-minutes until at least through October 24. Knights was slated to premiere October 17 at 9 p.m. ABC is very high on this new series creatively and they want to be sure the program is given the best possible exposure. It will provide an even stronger promotional platform, away from the clutter of other network premieres. If they feel it is necessary to find a better time to premiere this show, then I'm all for it, because the pilot is flat-out hilarious! The Knights of Prosperity is a hilarious tale of haves and have nots, starring Donal Logue as the leader of a band of affable, new-age Robin Hoods who have never even shoplifted a candy bar, but now find themselves prepping for a heist to finance all of their long-held, heart-felt dreams. The target -- Rock icon Mick Jagger's super luxe Central Park West apartment.
Further information regarding Tuesday night programming will be announced by ABC soon.

Variety is reporting that CBS will swap slots for The Class and How I Met Your Mother, in order to boost The Class. The Class will now air 8:30 p.m. on Mondays and Mother will lead-off Mondays at 8 p.m.
CBS also is close to giving The New Adventures of Old Christine a full 22 episode order, rather than just 13. Details will come later today.
