'Punky Brewster' E! True Hollywood Story; ABC's 'MEN IN TREES' To Premiere After 'Dancing'
ABC has tweaked their fall schedule just a little bit and moved the series premiere of MEN IN TREES to Tuesday, September 12 at 10 p.m. following the two-hour season premiere of Dancing with the Stars. MEN IN TREES was slated to premiere on Friday, September 22 at 9 p.m. The series' second episode will air on Friday, September 15 at 9 p.m., following an encore of the pilot episode at 8 p.m. I think this is an excellent move. This will get MEN IN TREES some heavy exposure that it deserves. I've seen the pilot and it is very fun and light. It reminds me of Northern Exposure. Anne Heche is very good in it. And also, the premiere and the second episode will both air a week before the fall season officially starts, so that is another plus. Frank scrambles to find a date for a romantic sunset horse ride; Patel hosts a "sip 'n snip" fundraising event.
Going Dutch - "None of the Good Guys" (Fox, 9:30PM ET/PT)
Captain Maggie is cursed with dating bad men and Sergeant Dana convinces her to go to a single's mixer; the Colonel deals with an anonymous protestor that has infiltrated the base.
