More On New Syndicated Sitcom 'House of Payne', And More on E! TV's 'Child Star Confidential'

Today we have follow-up articles on two stories we have discussed recently. More info on first-run syndicated sitcom House of Payne and E! Television's Child Star Confidential. New York City's WWOR-My9, MyNetworkTV’s flagship station, is proud to announce the airing of a limited broadcast of the first 10 episodes of Tyler Perry’s first run, original comedy series House of Payne this spring. Viewers can catch the debut of the House of Payne’s first two episodes during primetime on Monday, May 8 (9-10 p.m.). Later that same night, My9 will begin its limited two-week run of all 10 episodes at 11 p.m.
House of Payne, produced by Tyler Perry and distributed by Debmar-Mercury, is about the comical situations that ensue when a multi-generational family lives under one roof, and reflects Perry’s gift for delivering inspirational and uplifting stories with identifiable characters.

House of Payne On My9 Recap:
Episode 1: Monday, May 8 (9-9:30 p.m. and 11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 2: Monday, May 8 (9:30-10 p.m.) and Tuesday, May 9 (11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 3: Wednesday, May 10 (11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 4: Thursday, May 11 (11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 5: Friday, May 12 (11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 6: Monday, May 15 (11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 7: Tuesday, May 16 (11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 8: Wednesday, May 17 (11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 9: Thursday, May 18 (11-11:30 p.m.)
Episode 10: Friday, May 19 (11-11:30 p.m.)

The show will replace Bernie Mac at 11 p.m., which slides to 11:30 p.m., which replaces Girlfriends, which moves to 11:30 a.m. replacing Coach. Coach will be off the air on My9 until this two week run finishes.
As mentioned before, other stations slated to air the show include: KTXH CH 20 Houston; WCIU CH 26 Chicago; WPHL CH 17 Philadelphia; WBDC CH 50 Washington, DC; WTBS CH 17 Atlanta; KTXA CH 21 Dallas; WBFS CH 33 Miami; WNUV CH 54 Baltimore; and WRDC CH 28 Raleigh. Houston will also start on May 8, with the other channels still not confirmed when they will start.

Each episode of Child Star Confidential will shine the spotlight once again on a group of former stars whose fame earned the adoration of fans throughout the world All grown up now, these young adults tell - in their own words - what life is like when agents won't return your calls, the money runs out and you're facing life on your own for the first time. They are survivors willing to share their stories of struggle, insecurity and triumph over adversity.

The Kids' Table
Adorable, precocious and oh-so cute, these kids could get away with anything by simply flashing a smile and delivering a quick one-liner. But when the cameras stopped rolling, just how many of these pint-sized stars were able to survive their own punch-lines? We'll find out who got involved in an ugly legal battle with his parents over $? Which child star found himself out-ed by the press? Who received death threats from wacked-out fans? Plus, which one of these stars bottomed out on Crystal Meth? CSC takes a look at these young TV stars and reveals how they
coped with fame - their ups and downs, and how they managed to survive their own success. The Kids' Table premieres on Saturday, May 6 at 5PM ET/PT.

Geeks, Freaks & Sidekicks
