In 2005, she lent her voice to Mama Gunda in Tarzan II. She was the voice of Lula on the 2004-2005 Disney Channel animated series Dave the Barbarian. Some of her other voice credits included Aladdin (1995), The Tick (1996), Hercules, The Wild Thornberrys, The Brothers Flub, Family Guy, House of Mouse, The Proud Family, Kim Possible, American Dad!, Futurama and Captain Jake and the Never Land Pirates.

She starred as sharp-tongued and sarcastic waitress Jan Hoffmeyer Gray on the 1980-1982 ABC and 1985-1989 first-run syndicated sitcom It's a Living. She played Barbara Russo, Blossom Russo's (Mayim Bialik) mother, on the 1990 pilot episode of Blossom. She did not continue with the project when NBC picked it up as a regular series.
Some of her sitcom guest appearances included The New Temperatures Rising Show, Carter Country, Barney Miller (2 episodes), WKRP in Cincinnati, The Jeffersons, Three's Company, Good Time Harry and It Takes Two. She was a frequent guest on Fernwood 2 Night as Linda Barry.

She was married to her husband of 39 years, stage and screen actor Sam Freed, who was almost as important to her as her dogs and cats. She is also survived by her sister Heide Rivchun of Cleveland and her sister Kim Rivchun of Providence, Rhode Island.
Ms. Youngfellow had a unique appeal among actresses of the late 1970s and 1980s. She was one of only four cast members who appeared on all six seasons of It's a Living. We thank her for her work on It's a Living and her other television roles. She will be greatly missed.

From Mighty Mint, Duplass Brothers Productions, and creators & executive producers Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen (writers on HBO's High Maintenance), the series follows Sam (played by Everett), a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggling to fit the hometown mold. Grappling with loss and acceptance, singing is Sam's saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don't fit in but don't give up, showing that finding your people, and finding your voice, is possible. Anywhere. Somewhere.
Cast regulars include: Jeff Hiller (Nightcap) as Joel, whose vision-board dreams of Faith, Family, and high-end kitchen appliances are ripped to pieces in a spiral of joy, shame, music, and stress rashes, after he befriends his high school idol, Sam (Bridget Everett); Mary Catherine Garrison (HBO's Veep) as Tricia Miller, Sam's resentful and scrappy sister, who is exhausted from trying to live up to hometown expectations; Danny McCarthy (The Ballad of Buster Scroggs) as Rick, Sam's quietly unremarkable brother-in-law, whose secret sends Sam and Joel's imaginations spinning as fast as the Kansas tornado that reveals the truth; and Mike Hagerty (HBO's Lucky Louie) as family patriarch Ed Miller, a stoic Kansas farmer who believes if you just keep your head down and work hard... you'll reap what you sow. He eventually learns that ignoring problems only makes them grow.

Antenna TV Acquires That Girl for January and Perhaps More; Disney Just Rolls With It Once Again

Antenna TV is not done with adding new shows in 2020! After the announcement of shows a few weeks back of five Sony-owned sitcoms, we have another addition and a possible acquisition as well. Antenna TV has officially acquired the '60s sitcom That Girl starring Marlo Thomas to start airing in January 2020. The series last aired on the multicast network MeTV for a few years from 2012-14 and on cable before that on networks like TV Land. That Girl aired from 1966-71 on ABC and was about Ann Marie (Marlo Thomas), an aspiring (but only sporadically employed) actress, who moves from her hometown of Brewster, New York, to try to make it big in New York City. The sitcom also starred Ted Bessell, Lew Parker, Bernie Kopell and Rosemary DeCamp.
There is still more info to come on That Girl coming to Antenna TV, so stay tuned, but for now it is one of five sitcoms (joining The Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, Designing Women and NewsRadio) that start in January. And more shows may be coming beyond that. We already know Who's the Boss? starts in Fall 2020, but there is word that '80s sitcom It's a Living will also join the Antenna TV line-up sometime next year. Details are still very slim on that, so keep it right here for continued updates on if and when that series joins the line-up. That Girl is from CBS Television Distribution, while It's a Living is from Warner Bros. 2020 should be a major year for Antenna TV with many sitcoms joining the line-up!
Disney Channel has picked up a second season of the unique new comedy Just Roll With It and entered into an overall development deal with its creators and executive producers, Adam Small and Trevor Moore, to write and produce programming for Disney Channel and Disney+. Production on season two will commence in September. Just Roll With It blends a scripted family sitcom with improvisational elements and allows the studio audience the opportunity to vote on the outcome of certain scenes. As previously announced, Disney Channel will present a special LIVE telecast of the series, Just Roll With It: You Decide LIVE! The one-hour special, directed by Emmy(R)-nominated director Sandra Restrepo (Jimmy Kimmel Live!, 2 Dope Queens), will give viewers nationwide an opportunity to join the studio audience in the fun of determining plot twists in real-time as they watch along and vote in DisneyNOW, on Friday, Oct. 4 (9:00 p.m. EDT/6:00 p.m. PDT).
Just Roll With It follows the newly blended Bennett-Blatt family as they navigate everyday family life and the ups and downs of adolescence. Starring is Tobie Windham ("Walk the Prank") and Suzi Barrett (Upright Citizens Brigade comedy group, Disney's Kirby Buckets) as fun-loving newlyweds and parents Byron and Rachel. Talented young actors Ramon Reed (Disney's The Lion King on Broadway) and Kaylin Hayman (One Day at a Time) play preteen step-siblings, Owen and Blair.

It's a Living Coming to Logo on April 21; Hollywood Darlings Returns Wednesday on Pop
The '80s sitcom It's a Living is coming to Logo starting Saturday, April 21! The series will launch on Logo from 12pm-3:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday, in between blocks of Three's Company and Mama's Family on Saturday and Mama's Family and Married...with Children on Sunday. Like with other Logo sitcoms, It's a Living will air in marathon blocks when it airs. It will primarily air on weekends, so check your listings for exact timings. Other Logo sitcoms currently on the schedule include The Facts of Life, Alice, Green Acres, Too Close for Comfort, Bewitched, The Nanny, The Golden Girls, Will & Grace, All in the Family and the already mentioned Three's Company, Mama's Family and Married...with Children. Logo will air It's a Living starting with the third season, which was the start of its run in first-run syndication. The first two seasons aired on ABC, then continued for four more seasons in first-run syndication. The series has not been seen on television since it briefly aired on TV Land in 2001.
The show follows the lives of the waitresses at the posh restaurant Above the Top, located at the top of the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California. At the helm was supervisor Nancy Beebe (Marian Mercer), the restaurant's maƮtre d', who sometimes fraternized with the girls but usually gave orders. More often than not the scheme of the week involved upsetting Nancy in some way because all she wanted was an orderly wait staff. Adding to the chaotic working environment was a wisecracking pianist named Sonny Mann (Paul Kreppel), who made rude comments to the women, Nancy included, and got insulted in return. The kitchen was the domain of Chef Mario (Bert Remsen), then Dennis Hubner (Earl Boen), and finally Howard Miller (Richard Stahl), who eventually married Nancy.
Back in January at the TCA Winter 2018 Press Tour, we got word that Pop TV set an April 18 season two premiere date for Hollywood Darlings starring Christine Lakin (Step by Step), Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven) and Jodie Sweetin (Full House), and now we are just days away from the premiere! The season premiere airs at 8pm this Wednesday (April 18) only on Pop. There was a sneak peek episode last Wednesday after the season finale of Schitt's Creek. The season premiere, "Y2K," gives us the origin story of how the Hollywood Darlings became best friends told through a series of flashbacks to New Years Eve, 1999. 8 episodes have been ordered for the second season, just like the first season. Tune in this Wednesday at 8! And if you're in NJ or PA, catch the stars of Hollywood Darlings at the XFinity Stores in South Orange, NJ on Thursday, April 19 from 5-7pm and in King of Prussia, PA on Friday, April 20 from 3-5pm. The stars will be all over TV and radio this week as well, see out TV Stars on Talk listings.
In the series, these three childhood stars and friends, navigate the ups and downs of life in Hollywood. Through a series of misadventures, they guide and support one and other through crazy social situations, relationships, and their careers. Read our review of five episodes from last season.
