  • With The Simpsons being in season 36, which is longer than most people spend in a single job, it shouldn't be surprising that cast members would want to retire, and we've officially got our first retirement with Pamela Hayden announcing she has retired from the series. (Hollywood Reporter)
  • Meanwhile, amid speculation that The Simpsons and other animated series could potentially be moving from Fox to Hulu, Fox has renewed their deal with Hulu, somewhat quashing those rumors. (Deadline)

  • Comcast is joining the "cord cutting" trend of most Americans by splitting off most of their cable networks to a separate company, with the exception of Bravo. (Variety)
