NBC's Happy's Place Gets Full Season; HBO Renews It's Florida, Man for Another Zany Season
NBC has ordered an additional five episodes of its Friday night comedy hit Happy's Place, bringing the total episode order to 18. The Happy's Place premiere has hit 14 million viewers across all platforms. The premiere has improved the Friday 8-8:30 p.m. timeslot by +90% among total viewers and +88% in the 18-49 demo. Bobbie (Reba McEntire) inherits her father's tavern (Happy's Place) and is surprised to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had. The series stars Reba McEntire, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn.
The HBO Original late-night comedy series It's Florida, Man has been renewed for a second season. The season one finale debuts Friday, November 22 and the first season is available to stream on Max. From Rough House Pictures (HBO's Eastbound & Down and The Righteous Gemstones) and Range Studios, this irreverent late-night comedy series brings to life unbelievable ripped-from-the-headlines tales of the Sunshine State - straight from the people who live there.
