- Cable deals for series don't get nearly as much attention as they used to, but Viacom will have the rights to Parks and Recreation through 2024. (TVLine)
- Disney+ launched this week, and one thing that fans were unhappy with was the aspect ratio of The Simpsons, but there is a plan to fix that next year. (The Verge)
- The sand might be running out of the hourglass, as it was reported this week that the entire cast of Days of Our Lives, one of the only four remaining daytime soap operas (and the only one remaining on NBC), has been released from their contract. (New York Times)
