SitcomsOnline Digest: The Detour and Grace and Frankie Coming to an End; Decades Celebrates Bob Newhart's 90th Birthday
- The TBS series, The Detour, is coming to a dead end as it has been cancelled after four seasons. (Variety)
- Netflix has announced Grace and Frankie will come to an end after the seventh season. (CNN)
- Although it's not exactly based upon the college admissions scandal (it's in fact based upon a Korean series that predates the scandal), NBC has nabbed a drama series that has a similar story. (Deadline)
- A premiere date has been set for the Mad About You reboot. (Deadline)
- There are a lot of TV anniversaries coming up, including the 25th for Friends and the 50th for The Brady Bunch, and of course, marathons will happen. (SitcomsOnline)
