Ricky Gervais Comedy Coming to Netflix in March; Two TBS Series Moving to TNT

After Life starring Ricky Gervais launches on Netflix March 8, 2019. In the comedy, Ricky Gervais stars as widower, Tony in this new original Netflix 6 episode original series. Tony (Ricky Gervais) had a perfect life. But after his wife Lisa dies, Tony changes. After contemplating taking his own life, he decides instead to live long enough to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he likes from now on. He thinks it's like a Super Power - not caring about himself or anyone else - but it turns out to be tricky when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they used to know.
Starring alongside Gervais is Kerry Godliman (Derek) as Tony's wife Lisa, Tom Basden (Plebs, David Brent: Life On The Road) as Tony's brother-in-law Matt, Tony Way (Edge of Tomorrow) as Tony's best-friend Lenny, David Bradley (The Harry Potter series, Game of Thrones) as Tony's dad, and Ashley Jensen (Extras) as a Nurse to Tony's dad. Also starring is Penelope Wilton (Downton Abbey, Doctor Who), David Earl (Cemetery Junction, Derek), Joe Wilkinson (Him and Her), Kerry Godliman (Derek), Mandeep Dhillon, Jo Hartley, Roisin Conaty, Tim Plester and Diane Morgan (David Brent: Life On The Road).
Celebrity rap battle series Drop the Mic and classic game show reboot Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild will return to television on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT) respectively, on TNT. Both shows will encore the following night each week on TBS. The move to TNT will pair each series with the network's significant sports audience. Drop the Mic is no stranger to sports stars, having featured notable athletes such as Shaquille O'Neal, Rob Gronkowski, Michael Bennett and Odell Beckham Jr. Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild has also featured several athletes including Antonio Brown, Julian Edelman and Dana White, in addition to cameos by Michael Strahan who is an executive producer on the show. Both series are in their third seasons, with this the first on TNT for both.
