  • The spinoff of The Middle starring Eden Sher has gotten a pilot commitment for ABC, and we're all rooting for 2019 to be the "year of Sue Heck." (Entertainment Weekly)
  • It's that time of the year where we start hearing about who will (and won't) be returning to Saturday Night Live for the upcoming season, and so far, featured player Luke Null is out (though you would be forgiven if you aren't really sure who he is). (Vulture)
  • Jerry Seinfeld has no regrets about turning down $5 million per episode to do another season of Seinfeld. (Deadline)
  • A contestant on an episode of $100,000 Pyramid that aired this week confused Osama with Obama, and no, it wasn't because he was like that distant uncle who posts political memes on Facebook 20 times a day. (Hollywood Reporter)
  • Who watches the Teen Choice Awards? Just as we suspected, nobody, at least according to the record low ratings it received on Sunday. (Variety)
  • Aside from occasional trips to Los Angeles or Orlando, The Tonight Show doesn't leave the studio too often, but it will for one night next month as it broadcasts from Central Park. (Variety)
  • Yes, more reboots are being discussed this week, including Designing Women, why wouldn't they be? (SitcomsOnline)
