USA Network's Suits Gets Spin-Off?; TV Land's Younger Hits Series High...Again

USA Network and Universal Cable Productions (UCP) announced that the Season 7 finale of Suits, airing in the first quarter of 2018, will serve as a potential spinoff that would center around powerhouse lawyer Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres). The pilot will be executive produced and written by Suits creator and executive producer Aaron Korsh and executive producer Daniel Arkin, and will be directed by Suits alum Anton Cropper (House of Lies, black-ish). Doug Liman, David Bartis and Gene Klein of Hypnotic (Suits) will also serve as executive producers. The pivotal Season 7 finale will reunite Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) with their old friend Pearson as she adjusts to her new life in the Windy City. When she is forced to enter the dirty world of Chicago politics, Pearson must rely on her legal wits and valiant relationships from Pearson Specter Litt to navigate this unknown territory.


Younger

Following several weeks in a row of season highs, the fans have spoken again and made it clear that this season of Younger is absolutely can't-miss television. The August 9 episode, "Fever Pitch," delivered the highest ratings in series history in L+3 across all key demos, including a 0.92 in Adults 25-54, a 1.43 with Women 25-54, a 0.77 with Adults 18-49, and a 1.23 with Women 18-49. "Fever Pitch" was also - for the second week in a row - the most-watched episode in Younger history, with 1.4 million viewers in Live + 3. Highest playback among all key demos in series history. In this last night's episode of Younger - (Wednesday, August 16) at 10pm ET/PT - Liza gets an opportunity to edit a potential bestseller, but it comes with emotional strings attached. Josh makes a new connection with the help of Liza, and Maggie ruffles some feathers with her neighbors. The comedy stars two-time Tony(R) winner Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann and Molly Bernard.
