When Marge becomes obsessed with a Japanese style of living, the Simpsons must part with any item that no longer brings them joy. For Homer, this means finding a new home for the family pig. For Lisa, it means saying goodbye to her beloved sax.

Peter’s past as a sperm donor catches up to him when many of his children show up unannounced to his house.

Superior Donuts - "Secrets and Spies" (CBS, 8:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
When Maya momentarily leaves her open laptop unattended, the gang discovers she’s been studying them all year for her dissertation. Also, Franco and Randy become determined to learn the truth about where a tight-lipped Arthur really spends each Sunday.

Mom - "Blow and a Free McMuffin" (CBS, 9:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Christy and Bonnie rush to a sick Violet’s side, only to find out that having mono is the least of her worries.

Life in Pieces - "Ear Scorn Registry Manuscript" (CBS, 9:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
When Colleen goes to Tim for help with an embarrassing ailment, she begs him not to tell the family. Also, Dougie (Fortune Feimster) enlists Joan to help her buy a gift for Matt and Colleen’s wedding; Heather gets jealous when her friends want to include Jen in their mommy group; and Professor Sinclair Wilde (Cary Elwes) encourages Joan to ask her family to read a draft of her book.

American Dad - "Garbage Stan" (TBS, 10:00PM ET/PT)
Stan and Steve open up their own father-son garbage business after Stan inherits his father's old truck; Roger finds Hayley is a natural at bumper pool and brings her to play with the best player in town.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine - "The Slaughterhouse" (Fox, 9:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
After making a terrible first impression on their idol, Lieutenant Melanie Hawkins (guest star Gina Gershon), Jake and Rosa set out on a mission to earn her respect and snag a spot on her elite task force, but are at odds when they realize there’s only one spot left. Back at the precinct, Charles, Terry and Gina test different parenting methods to resolve a conflict between Scully and Hitchcock.

In The Cut - "The Relationship Game" (Bounce TV, 9:00PM ET/PT)
Mable introduces a relationship game show to the restaurant to attract new business, the couples compete but their partnerships are put to the test.


Wednesday, August 30

The Goldbergs - "The Kara-te kid" (ABC, 8:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Inspired by the “Karate Kid” films, Adam and the other Adam Goldberg face off in a karate match to settle once and for all a long-running feud. Barry and Adam go to Uncle Marvin for training, but the only thing they learn is how to clean an apartment. Meanwhile, when Erica and Geoff’s relationship becomes public, they realize that they aren’t the good guys.

Speechless - "R-A-Y-C-- RAY-CATION" (ABC, 8:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Maya enlists the family to assist JJ in romancing a girl at school, but it backfires when JJ expresses his feelings to Claire, and they are not reciprocated. Meanwhile, as the DiMeos are always late, Ray has the family practice to get to school in time for his upcoming weekend field trip.

Modern Family - "Frank's Wedding" (ABC, 9:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Frank Dunphy’s Roaring 20s-themed wedding day is finally here, and to get into the spirit, Phil gets the Dunphy clan to show up in costume. Once Claire and the kids realize they are the only ones dressed-up, they feel it’s time for a “funny” intervention with Phil. Meanwhile, Jay has mastered the art of saying no, but soon realizes that if you say no too many times, people stop asking; and Cam is in for a big surprise when he finally stops hiding behind Mitchell and stands up to his sister Pam.

American Housewife - "The Polo Match" (ABC, 9:30PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
When Doris insists that Katie attend the charity polo match she’s organizing, Katie invites her crass best friend from college, Billy (guest star Will Sasso), to inject some life into the festivities, but Billy grates on the rest of the Ottos.

Modern Family - "Heavy Is the Head" (ABC, 10:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Despite their lofty hopes, Phil and Jay’s property investment might turn out to be a bust, forcing Phil to rethink his original dream. Meanwhile, Cam lands in the hospital due to a head injury and refuses to have an MRI thanks to a traumatic incident with a well when he was a child. Determined to finally impress Claire and keep her from re-gifting her birthday present, Gloria surprises her with a day of luxury at the office. However, after Claire had to implement some rather harsh budget cuts at work, a massage at her desk may not be sending the right message.

Erica and Lainey try to find Bill a woman of interest by using new technology for dating. They recruit Adam to create a demo reel, but Beverly insists she will find someone the old fashioned way. Meanwhile, after a “failed” aptitude test, Barry decides he wants to be a gym teacher and becomes Coach Mellor’s apprentice.

Marlon - "Project Kids" (NBC, 9:00PM ET/PT)
Feeling that Marley (Notlim Taylor) and Zack (Amir O'Neil) don't appreciate everything they have, Marlon (Marlon Wayans) teaches them a lesson by recreating the projects from his childhood.

Marlon - "Surprises" (NBC, 9:30PM ET/PT)
Marlon (Marlon Wayans) is stunned to learn that Ashley (Essence Atkins) is treating herself to breast augmentation surgery for her birthday, her first since their divorce. Stevie (Diallo Riddle) is determined to guess Yvette's (Bresha Webb) age.

Swedish Dicks - (Pop, 8:00PM ET/PT)
A client wants Ingmar and Axel to find out if the competing pet cemetery is burning animals in large groups; the case is complicated by Axel's decision to go off his anti-depressants; Ingmar's nightmares lead them to the house of a cameraman.

Younger - "A Novel Marriage" (TV Land, 10:00PM ET/PT)
Liza is drawn into her author’s Upper East Side life, forcing her worlds to collide. Kelsey comes to Lauren’s rescue.

Odd Mom Out - "Star Gazing" (Bravo, 9:30PM ET/PT)
Jill books a photo shoot in Los Angeles and brings Vanessa along; they follow musician Dave Navarro on a crazy adventure; Candace oversteps her boundaries with Hazel; Lex faces his deepest fears in a zero-gravity chamber.

Kevin Can Wait - "Beat the Parents" (CBS, 8:00PM ET/PT) (Repeat)
Kevin and Donna are thrilled when their son, Jack, makes friends with a boy from school, Grayden (Graydon Peter Yosowitz), however, when Donna and Kevin don’t hit it off with Grayden’s arrogant father, Vic (Ray Romano), and his pushy wife, Brandi (Lindsay Broad), they set out to sabotage the boys’ new friendship. Matt Romano guest stars as Vic’s second son, Braden.
