Week 23 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did
2015-16 Week 23 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu):
Households: #1. CBS 5.81/10 rating/share (-28% in rating from first four nights week 22); #2. ABC 3.66/6 (+5%); #3. Fox 3.58/6 (+3%); #4. NBC 3.48/6 (+4%); #5. The CW 1.21/2 (+8%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 9.290 million (-31% from first four nights week 22); #2. Fox 5.934 million (+5%); #3. ABC 5.581 million (+6%); #4. NBC 5.306 million (+3%); #5. The CW 1.942 million (+7%).
Adults 18-49: #1. CBS 1.71/6 rating/share (-48% in rating from first four nights week 22); #2. Fox 1.66/5 (+5%); #3. ABC 1.58/5 (+5%); #4. NBC 1.22/4 (+6%); #5. The CW 0.74/2 (+7%).
We have previous week's final ratings, Week 22 (2/15-2/21/16, LIVE+SD). CBS won the week in A18-49 with a 2.22 rating, thanks to the Grammy's. ABC was #2 with a 1.42 rating. Fox was #3 with a 1.17 rating, while NBC was #4 with a 1.07 rating. Among total viewers, CBS was of course #1 with 10.647 million, with ABC #2 at 5.192 million. NBC was #3 with 4.979 million and Fox at #4 with 3.971 million.
For season to-date (9/21/15-2/25/16, LIVE+SD), CBS is now #1 in A18-49 with a 2.08 rating, followed by now NBC at #2 with a 1.98 rating. Fox at #3 with a 1.72 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.35 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 10.032 million, followed by NBC at #2 with 7.406 million, Fox holding on to #3 with 5.440 million and ABC at #4 with 5.417 million. ABC should take over Fox soon.
