TCA Summer 2014 Press Tour: CBS; Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of July 21, 2014)

CBS

Yesterday it was CBS' turn at the TCA Summer 2014 press tour. After the executive session, there was a panel for upcoming new Sunday drama Madam Secretary starring Téa Leoni. New sitcom The McCarthy's had the next panel. The sitcom stars Tyler Ritter, Joey McIntyre, & Laurie Metcalf. The spin-off series NCIS: New Orleans had the next panel. Next up was lunch, before upcoming new drama Scorpion took the stage. Then a panel for the new series Battle Creek took the floor before a presentation from NFL Thursday Night Football. And the final panel of the day went to the Maggie Q series Stalker. Among the announcements were, Cote de Pablo will star in The Dovekeepers, a four-hour CBS miniseries event from executive producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, which will be broadcast in 2015. The project is based on Alice Hoffman's acclaimed historical novel about four extraordinary women whose lives intersect in a fight for survival at the siege of Masada. And finally, today The CW and Showtime will be up. We'll cover anything of note on Monday. Stay with us.
