New Year's Eve 2013 and New Year's Day 2014 TV Marathons
VH1 will air a Happy Endings marathon on New Year's Eve beginning at 8pm and will run through the day on New Year's Day, as every single episode will air. See what you missed! If you're looking for more comedy in that style, then Bravo will have a Mindy Project New Year's Eve marathon on Tuesday from 11:30am-5pm. On New Year's Day, Bravo airs a Watch What Happens Live marathon from 7am-3pm. FX won't have a series marathon on New Year's Eve or Day, but tonight they have a Dads marathon from 6pm-11:30pm if you want to catch-up on that sitcom. Sister network FXX will have It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia New Year's Eve marathon from 7pm-12am. Movies air on New Year's Day on FX and FXX. USA Network has a Law & Order: SVU Resolve to Watch New Year's Eve marathon starting at 4am-7pm and a Modern Family "Kids Say the Darndest Things" marathon on New Year's Eve from 7pm-1am. On New Year's Day, USA will go the NCIS route with a Resolve to Watch marathon from 6am-2am. TV Land will have a New Year's Day marathon starting Wednesday with episodes of births, first loves, weddings, vacations and more of series like The Andy Griffith Show, The Brady Bunch, The Cosby Show, The Nanny, Roseanne, Golden Girls, Hot in Cleveland and The King of Queens. CMT will have a New Year's Day marathon of Cops 12pm-12am on Wednesday. WGN America will celebrate the New Year with a New Year's Day marathon of its newest weekday series Law & Order from 9am-4pm on Wednesday. In the Heat of the Night & Matlock will move to weekends as a result. WE tv will launch Law & Order as well on New Year's with a marathon beginning at midnight on New Year's Eve and lasting through New Year's Day. Syfy has its annual Twilight Zone New Year's Eve marathon starting at Tuesday 8am and continuing into New Year's Day as well into Thursday morning at 5am. FEARnet will have a New Year's Shockin' Eve marathon of Reaper from 10am-10pm on Tuesday.
Some others include: Encore Classic's New Year's Day marathon of Magnum P.I. starting the night of New Year's Eve at 2am until 12am on New Year's Day. GMC has a New Year's Eve marathon of 7th Heaven from 9am-12am on Tuesday. On IFC, they will have a Malcolm in the Middle marathon on New Year's Eve starting at 6:15am through 4:45pm. A&E spends New Year's Eve with Storage Wars starting at 6pm Tuesday, while a Duck Dynasty marathon airs on New Year's Day beginning at 7pm Wednesday. ION Television will launch a new series on New Year's Day with a Burn Notice marathon from 2pm-3am on Wednesday. Universal HD will have a marathon of House on New Year's Eve starting at 6am. BBC America has a Doctor Who marathon on New Year's Eve beginning at 9am and a Tudors marathon on New Year's Day. AMC has a Walking Dead marathon beginning New Year's Eve at 8am and lasting all the way to 5am on Thursday as every single episode to-date will air. Boomerang once again has a Scooby-Doo marathon on New Year's Day starting at 6am. Comedy Central will alternate between Futurama and Tosh.0 marathons on New Year's Eve and Day. Reality wise, Chiller has a Fear Factor marathon on New Year's Eve beginning at 6am. And DIY will have a New Year's Eve marathon of Vanilla Ice Project from 7am-4am
Other notable TV marathons and specials include ABC's New Year's Rockin' Eve 30 Greatest Women in Music special tomorrow from 8pm-10pm, followed by its annual specials at 10pm and 11:30pm. Movie wise, TBS has a Hangover marathon beginning at 11am through 8pm on New Year's Day, while Hallmark Channel continues to air Christmas movies on New Year's Eve.
